Borderline troll post but there is something deeply weird about an individual who calls the game ‘unfortunate’ and ‘bullshit’ yet hangs around the forum making detailed posts about lore inconsistencies. Just go already. Given the current popularity of the game (and obvious momentum around 1.19), you’re on a very, very small island in being unhappy with the direction of the game. Also with the resources available, the team has performed admirably is allocating those resources to the game –just need to compare the current game to what we had 2yrs ago.

I understand why you’re upset but there’s a few other considerations: The wipes HAVE been clearly signposted. That they haven’t needed to wipe in the last few updates has been a bonus It gives a blanket reset for the economy, plus the days before the wipe are among the craziest times on all servers As DefectiveWater said plenty of other games regularly wipe including big ones - Fortnite wipes character progress every couple of months They’re not going to lose the player base – since the wipes have been instituted the game has significantly grown in popularity If it means we get major updates like 1.19 then I’m all for it. If you have played for 2 years you should be able to gear up relatively quickly

Oh my lord, that is a biiig changelog. Well done to the devs, must have been a huge amount of work. Great to see all the Experimental servers were high pop or full earlier this morning. I had to queue to get into Livonia. Definitely a lot of hype around this update - looking forward to getting stuck in!

[Australian Official Livonia servers, 2x3PP \ 0x1PP. One of each before anticipated 1.19 update]

Great idea. Adding +1 from New Zealand for this! While we're talking regions, it's great to see the official Australian Chenarus server (forget number off top off my head) hitting high pops regularly. -
I wonder if people are aware that it's totally up to server owners whether the community servers get wiped. But I'm good with the officials getting wiped occasionally - it releases the high tier guns back into the economy and gives solo/small group players a chance of obtaining them. Also whether this was intentional or not - the days leading up the wipe are some of the best times to play now. This time is going to be epic with the increased heli spawns. Looking forward to it.

Interesting, thanks for the explaining the logic behind it. I can understand the desire to remove the meta even though it will take some adaption. Just on the cars - there's a silent majority who couldn't give a xyz about them. It's annoying (and unproductive) to have every post overtaken by a vocal minority insisting that it's the no. 1 issue despite being a feature few people use. (due to the effort required in assembling/maintaining.)

Overall very, very happy with the 1.13 changes so far. A couple of random things: IMO military zombies hit slightly too hard Speed of curing an infection from bandaging with dirty rags should be quicker. (As the impact is quite severe over a long period) The M16 A4 burst is perfect. It feels and sounds authentic I haven't see this mentioned but there looks to have been change to the state of doors - whether they are open or closed. E.g after a server restart all doors would be closed, now it seems randomized to whether they are closed/open. I'm not a fan of this as it was the primary way of gauging player activity. You could use the door state as clues in tracking down other players. It also rewarded a careful playstyle - closing doors after you looted a building leaves no indication that anyone is around. Entering a military base and seeing doors open instantly puts you on edge and into high alert mode. All this disappears if the open/closed state is just random.

What a great, informative post - awesome work. Can appreciate the time it must have taken to put together. On item 39 - loot in the Apartment buildings. I believe they have said that loot spawning in all the Apartment impacts the CLE by taking out loot of the rest of the areas due the number of potential spawns inside the buildings. That makes sense though it seems to work ok in Namalsk. It also makes game-world sense to expect loot in the large apartment blocks as they're a natural POI - as a new player I always wondered why I never found anything in them. It's part of a wider theme where I think the in game POIs should have appropriate loot spawns. There's some awesome locations but if they don’t spawn anything no-one spends any time there, or actively avoids them.

This is a great update and roadmap. Stealth kills, melee improvement, interesting additional firearms, better UI feedback and new environmental threat(s) are all worthwhile additions. Hopefully the wipes go some way to keeping high end guns in rotation. Also I'd speculate that hardcore players have a skewed perspective on what makes the game popular, enjoyable and successful. The persistent negativity is largely misplaced given the record average player numbers over the last few months. (Obviously Namalsk helped) I came in fresh at the end of last year and think the game is in a very solid place once you get over the initial learning curve. Delivering on this roadmap will make for a continually interesting game with the planned updates keeping it fresh. Very happy with the plans.
