The map gives a decent array of locations to look through. Many crashes that aren't on the map are generally in the area around the marked ones.

I agree wholeheartedly.. Zombies are really easy at the moment.. There needs to be many more in the cities and they should do more damage as well as take more damage to be killed.

This is actually a pretty decent suggestion. It actually allows for bases and other fortifications to be unique to a server, rather than seeing a base and ghosting into it on another server. Obviously this isn't perfect, but it sure is better than the current situation. This mixed with a logout timer would be absolutely golden. And to those saying you can camp multiple places at once and shit; it actually means they have to get there first, as opposed to hopping servers at the barracks. +1

Lol. I lost my entire campsite full of top tier gear. Instead of complaining like you did, I went out and started collecting gear again.. This is a fucking ALPHA, the fact that you can keep your gear for multiple weeks at a time is incredible as is. Deal with it and stop complaining.

As far as I know, you should get rid of any hacked items. Put them on a zombie and hide his body. I recently acquired an AS50 TWS off a sniper above elektro and was advised to do just this by Vipeax. This is just DayZ/Alpha for you :D

Meaning there weren't people around for the building to start spawning loot. By spawn I mean it had been blown up, and on server reset I found it needing all repairs with 3 of each smoke grenade, tent, 20 AK mags, 10 SVD mags, and 10 RGO frag grenades. Also the green offroad military truck spawns with DMR mags and Stanags..

The spawn requirements for a heli-crash is decently strict, so it is not uncommon to find a lot in close proximity to each other. I found 6 the other day in a zig-zag line about 2km long. Just be happy you got lucky :D

Don't blow it up! Those look like the default items that the Ural spawns with. Before seeing my UAZ spawn with 10 RGO frags, I thought they were hacked. It would be great to get confirmation from a Dev however..

I think this is great. I think I would get a little bored, as there would not be much interaction with people out there. Perhaps try to start a large outpost/base there? Not an item hoarding base, but just a safe haven away from most of the carnage that is DayZ :D

Honestly there is NO NEED for any more of these threads. there have been 101687 of these threads, and everyone understands how frustrating this is. All we can do is wait and hope that Rocket can find a way to implement a counter-measure for this. It is DIFFICULT, the last attempt allowed for a duping exploit. Be patient.

They spawn on UAZ's, so I'd assume they're legit. 10 spawned on mine.. Have yet to use them however :D
