1. Kill a zombie. 2. Put the AS50 TWS on the Zombie. 3. Hide the body. This gun was wiped from the game. The only way it can be in the game is through the item being spawned. I was in the same sort of situation as you, when I actually shot someone using the weapon. I managed to get in contact with Vipeax and he instructed me to use the instructions above to dispose of the weapon. It sucks, but that's DayZ for you :P] Edit: Good on ya :) People like you make the game better.

That's what the Bandit Campfire, and Survivor HQ sub forums are for. General discussion/Suggestions are used for circulating ideas/things that need changes. Changes ARE made from a majority view on the game if it is legit. Like I said before, there still are TOO many duplicate threads and useless rants. But that's how it is going to be when the player base is this large. As there is always a percentage of idiots among the players.

I would love to see some AI controlled areas that are EXTREMELY hard to infiltrate as an "endgame" sort of feature. Not just able to be sniped from afar and farmed for loot, but something that would need a team of players to assault. I understand that the game is a sandbox, but this would keep the spirit of the mod. It does get a little boring for me when I have had a camp and a few vehicles for a week or so.. Just my two cents. -
While I agree that there are many trashy and duplicate threads made in General Discussion, there are also a lot of threads that fit between Suggestions and General Discussion. And according to you no one should post on the forums? If enough people mobilize or at least discuss an issue with valid reasoning, it is going to be heard. Now that does not necessarily mean that it will be implemented, as that is up to Rocket. But it obviously, increases the chance that it could happen. Would like to understand what YOU think the forums are used for..

@Captain Q Don't exactly want to get rid of snipers, just there seems to be far too many snipers these days.. Whether that is due to low pop loot farming, or duping (most likely this) I would prefer that the drop rate go down a lot, with the exception of the CZ 550. This would make seeing one of the top tier snipers much more of a treat :) -
@JustThatEpic He/We know that.. What he's SAYING is that there are plenty of servers that DO NOT have the settings listed so you have NO idea if the server is 3DP/CH. Notice the caps, Those are to indicate that you should read them as normal sized text doesn't seem to cut it for you :D I agree with the OP, it would be a lot easier and the server list would look much cleaner if there was an enforced format.

Great guide! :D However only applies to a minority of us :/ Also, would you not have to do this every time you restart your computer? I was under the impression that ram disks only stored data for one session. -

@Fosty99 Because the M107 is American and the AS50 is British, makes more sense geographically I agree completely. The KSVK is a fair approach to an anti-material sniper, the time between shots makes it necessary to get your range right much like an actual sniper would take time to line up a shot. (obviously not THAT realistic but you get the point) With the AS-50 and M107 the fire rate is ridiculous, you can get off 3 shots to the KSVK's 1 in rapid succession and with approximately the same accuracy. I'd also be in favour of getting rid all snipers except the CZ 550, SVD Camo, and of course, the KSVK. -

I honestly wouldn't mind if they took snipers out. I'd prefer however if they severely reduced the spawn chance of them, or even keep just the CZ in the game. -

Good way to get a sniper is to sneak up on one in Elek. On almost 50% of the servers I join I hear sniper fire from pine trees, power lines or the north tree line. If you are patient and move in behind, tapping w slowly to eliminate noise, you can usually grab a gun out of their pack and shoot them from behind :D Even if they kill you when you're close, it's the thrill you get when you're almost touching them that makes it fun. Have done this quite a few times :)

Yeah, was overwatching a friend resupplying on food and I somehow noticed this guy that was just crouching down and all of a sudden the ammo box popped up :O Assholes like this piss me off, especially when it takes so long to get my top tier gear, and then suddenly lose it to hackers :/ -

How about instead of OUR secret bases, we post ones we have found that do not belong to us :D I have found bases at 062-023 Dallas 1, 135-031 Seattle 123 and I forget the rest.. -
Mostly due to high population, as said above, but I've been on quite a few foreign servers that were just as ruthless. People don't generally join the half full foreign servers when their thirsty for blood, so in theory you run in to friendlier people :p Ps. I'm surprised by the actual posts containing intelligence... There is hope for this forum again after all :D

The map ends when you stop seeing grass, mostly rolling hills with a dirt texture, like the debug plains. And yes, it would be much much better if tents/vehicles can't save off the map :/

Seeing that they don't last very long at all, the chances that a survivor would "stumble" upon it is minimal :/ Better to put them out so that sniper doesn't get wind.
