To whom it may concern or might have the same issue here's the solution: Just go to 'Parameters' in the launcher, then to the 'All Parameters' tab and under Client you put in your IP, Port and Password. Then just hit play and the show should start... Good luck, have fun, be gentle!

Guys, I'm back to DayZ after quite a while. I have a standalone server which starts like a charm but I just can't join via the DayZ launcher. When I hit 'Direct Connect' I put in the IP and click 'Connect' just nothing happens. I found something about the change of the launcher UI some updates ago but that didn't help me much. So I'm quite sure I just miss something obvious or maybe not too obvious... Can please anyone help me out here?? Many thanks Survivors!!

Guys only can scratch my head, maybe one of you can shed some light in here. I set up a standalone server which worked well. I have powerline adapters to extend my internet connection from one floor to another in my home. I then moved from one place to another and connected everything like it was before - so my network infrastructure didn't really change. BUT I just can't connect my server anymore. To be precise - I can reach the server connecting with the router directly via wi-fi or hardwired but when I connect via the powerline adapter the floor below I get the 0x00010001 thingy, though. But really it worked like a charm before with those and DHCP an Filters are all set as well. THX for some input here.

Hi guys, after setting up a private server some days ago which went pretty smooth I enjoyed the Chernarus till this happend... Once I quit the server as usual by just logging off my client and then killed the server process. Starting the server the next day and logging in I found my Char as I left it but from this point everything I do is not logged anymore. So whatever I do - when I quit and come back in I start again from the last saved point. What I did was - and I think you experienced guys will have noticed that I'm quite unexperienced with the server business - is to fiddle around with DayZSC (DayZ Config Tool). Nothing too wild I guess, just changed some items - more NailBoxes and BarbedWires for my Base. And I once changed the logging from 1 to 0. So no logging from avg FPS, Memory and Players. As the server is running on an SSD I just wanted to cut the write operations. In the end nothing helped. I checked the .cfg, the .bat, I checked the steam file integrity, I immediately turned back on the logging. Nothing - I end up starting again and again from this last point without any progress I made. Any thoughts? I know it wasn't too smart going into this config tool but I just wanted my base finally completed - I know you know what I mean... Thanks in advance! Hm, just a quick update - when I take my car and park it some distance away it's still there when restarting the server. My char is still back where I startet from. So weird
