Precisely lol. Although if you're on PC I'd suspect it's hackers/cheaters. In that case, I suggest you bury a bunch of fake stashes. Drybags with nothing inside them lol. Man I wished we still had pen and paper; then I'd also suggest leaving a note in the backpack that says "Made ya dig!" Then if they try another spot on their Cheater Map they'll find a wooden crate buried nearby, and after they dig it up, they'll find a note that says, "Made ya dig AGAIN!" Have enough fake stashes, eventually they'll get frustrated and give up, heh heh heh. XD

Same; I play on PS4. Never had my stashes found. I always put them in tall grass so that the brown pile of dirt is hidden. Another good method is to cut down a tree, bury your stash at the base of the tree where the stump is/was, then when the server restarts the tree will grow back, completely hiding the pile of dirt.

I'm desperately waiting for 1.10. My character has been living and looting from Three Valleys to Northwest Airfield for 36 hours, 33 minutes, and 54 seconds. Not one....Single....Tent. -_- I did find someone's base though. Just a small barn/shed with a gate built onto the front. The poor sap neglected to put a combination lock on it, or just simply left it behind in pursuit of a bigger and better base. Anyhoo, I slapped my own 4-Dial combination lock onto the gate, so now it's MY base lol. I feel a little bad. Promised myself I'd leave it just the way I found it lol. (The base was empty when I found it; nothing but an empty barrel in the barn....which is now full of my shit. Bunch of clothing items in the corner full of even more shit lol. Hope it doesn't despawn; been a couple days now and so far so good. Really need to find a hammer so I can make some crates; already got nails and a saw, but no hatchet or hammer; just a splitting axe, and I dunno if I can use that as a hammer. Might give it a try...it'd work in real life lol.) So far I've noted 45 players who play on the server; so far none of them have spawned inside my base. Been doing recon for a while, sitting in my base, waiting for someone to pop up while writing down names of new people logging onto the server lol. ...Lol, I'd feel sorry for that guy if he did log out while in his base like, months ago, then logs back in and can't get out because of the lock I put on the door lol. Plenty of food inside though, and weapons with which to kill himself should he not want to wait around for my return lol.
