the overlay wont work if you run the mod through six updater, one suggestion is to manually add the modline into the steam launch options, if you right click on operation arrowhead>launch options> then in the box type "-mod=@dayz" etc, there are about 2 other things you need to add although im not sure which right now, someone else would help you. so for example if there were 3 mods needed to run dayz the launch options would read as follows - "-mod=@mod1;@mod2;@mod3" as far as i know, the dayz mod does not just run that mod folder on its own, CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG PLEASE but i believe you may have to add a couple more. but try "-mod=@dayz" first and let me know if it works. ALSO dont forgot to right click on operation arrowhead and run COMBINED OPERATIONS instead of just double clicking on arrowhead, as that wont work. hope this helps

i disagree, having no weapon makes the mod that much more exciting, also if you are unable to lose zombies/avoid bandits then you just need to improve your strategy

pretty self explanatory really, just think it would be a good idea to replace the two, as currently the only LMG's in the mod are both american? would give a nice variety and be a little more realistic

some american weapons does kinda make sense, as a few nations buy US weapons. and European ones like the FAL, as they are readily available in most conflicts, even africa. as much as i love the thought of having the SA80...it makes no sense at all, but then again you can get the SA80 in S.T.A.L.K.ER. i think replacing the lee enfield with the mosin nagant is a great idea
