I like these updates because they seem to have the intention to increase player interaction. If players need water more often, most of them will be at wells/springs more often and are then more likely to meet another player. If players need to warm up more often, they will make fires more often which will attract players to the smoke. I see many new players on Reddit and YouTube who watch streamers and expect there to be more player interaction than has been typical. I know I have played on full servers and not seen players for hours.
