People vote with their feet, why do you think the huge player based dropped so low. Too many hackers ruining it for all and yep people chose to walk away. The Devs don't mind as they already have your money. If they were forced to refund due to the hacking problem maybe they would do more. As for Battle Eye it as always been a crap anti cheat system and will never improve.

Are people not allowed to mention the bad parts of the game? I'm just curious as not everyone is a fan boy and would like to enjoy the game with more content that food & water searching.

I only find clothing if anything on zombies. Food and water drops are to low. I even walked a rail track looking for 2 small stones to make a knife which took ages again a stupid idea. I got a stick and try to sharpen it for a spear but nope only get arrows. When I look at scum I think they have a better balance of eating, drinking and crafting. You can even cook human meat to survive in that game. This game is just 99% hunting for food and water with the odd bit of killing people. Maybe surviving should be 50%, crafting 25% and 25% anything else. If I got dropped in a forest I can survive no problem as i know how to build traps to catch animals or catch water. In Dayz you cannot do anything like this. I believe the devs are taking it easy and make it so they you spend too much time looking for food and water so they do not need to add too much content.

Have to agree on this, apart from the idiot responses about this not being real life the speed starvation and hydration kill you is silly. I just got the game and logged into a server and it was night so I went to the railway building but nope no food and no water and as it was pitch black I could not see anything and was dead due to starvation before day break. Game could be fun but seriously dead due to starvation or lack of hydration in 1 night and food and water not being readily available ruins the game. If people like that then maybe hardcore servers are great for them but the noob starting off does not have a chance. Joined same server during the day made a fire and fire starting kit. managed to find a chicken and cook it but 2 chicken stakes gave me like 50% food fill up which was gone in no time so again starve to death. There are hundreds of useless clothe drops to find but very few water and food and if you do manage to find something you need to spend hours searching for a tool to open them. Even rocks are not readily available for a stone knife which again is stupid. The are thousands of rocks everywhere and I think Scum do it better by allowing you to search any stony area and find rocks.
