I agree with that, but I also feel that someone who's never fired a weapon before, when getting a magazine fed weapon, will be far more accustomed to dropping the mag rather than holding on to it. Especially in pressure situations. From there, a learning progression should be incorporated to improve reload speed.

I'd like to see a hot load and a soft load added to the game. A soft load is how you load now. Take the magazine out of the weapon, put it away and pull a fresh one out, then inserting it into the weapon. A hot load would be a faster reload where you just release the mag, slam in a fresh one, send the bolt home and go back to firing. In a hot load, you lose the dropped mag unless you pick it back up. Also, on the topic of guns, before I go into a rant, I'm curious. How many gun owners have come on the forums complaining that the animations are horrible and unrealistic for many of the actions with a firearm?
