    When ever I'm on a server that has Side and Global chat, when people talk it comes through all distorted, can't make out a single word. Is it like this for anyone else? and can I fix it? hope its not my shitty 6mb DSL internet...

    There are several servers with Global voice and I know of one that said Beta required in the title of the server... thanks for the info tho EDIT: looking more closely at the server info says it only requires 1.60... thought that wasn't possible.

    REGARDLESS If you can make it out alive then you will have a better chance of surviving in the long run. Also gives you more supplies faster at the start. You have to get medical supplies PERIOD, fill your pack with them. 2 x pain killers 2 x blood packs 4 x bandages 4 x morphine

    Hour glass only last for a long time if you Abort after taking dmg and then join the game again... don't do that. Otherwise if you fall below 3000 Blood and you don't have anyone to give you a blood pack you might as well be dead... so just respawn. This game is pretty hardcore, huh?

    DIE! over and over and over! till you learn from your mistakes. Learn what is safe and isn't safe. It may be frustrating but once you figure it out its smooth sailing and will make you a much better player in the end.     Well hopefully this helps more people get to endgame where we can start making faction bases and raid other peoples bases. Added End-Game to guide :D

    Ya I was kind of hesitant to make this post... but some people just don't get it and I hate the "Then this game is not for you mentality." Some people could really use some help and I'd hate to see this game lose players cuz they couldn't figure out how to survive.

    added this to my startup parameters and saw FPS go from 20 to 40-50 in towns. -maxmem=2047 -maxVRAM=1958 -winxp -cpuCount=4 -exThreads=7 core i7 950 @4.0 Crossfire HD 5870 6GB DD3 @1600 SSD 170/180 startup parameters info: http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=16960&page=2 damn... still 15-20 fps around zombies

    New player here, just wondering what the intended behavior for zombies going through closed doors. On 1.7.1.4 they just clip straight through the door without it breaking or opening.

    That error is given when the launch options are incorrect some where, dunno about steam or where its messed up but double check everything.

    try the new DayZ version 1.7.1.4 don't seem to be getting this error as much anymore, or at all, and I was able to pick up an Axe just now.

    Can you still see other people in the Ghille Suit without high res textures?
