I would add long underwear layering system. 2-3 layers allow for winter weather, and only found in markets or military. And a variety of emergency blankets for cold nights without fire. Heck, even a range of bedding that could be in houses useful for when rain wont allow dry fires or gathering firewood. Also, rain pants or fishing pants. To fully rubberize and waterproof the rain gear. Better yet, why not ponchos around military bases? Talk about waterproofing... would cover backpacks too so waterproof packs arent always needed. Lastly, a emergency candle system best used for houses with glass windows that arent broken. Or oil lanterns that give off enough heat to warm an enclosed room. Otherwise the small heat source wouldnt help if broken windows or if doors were kept open.

I'm new to the game on console so i dont know what mods are best/avail to me this way. Ive tried to find suitably good ones on my pc ver, but the mods list is rather long. I will keep searching tho, just hoping the mods arent carrying viruses or malware in disguise. (Im paranoid like that after a virus i had last year. Nearly lost evrything and I still get emails from blackmailers.)

So if cavemen could craft lean-to tents and group huts, why cant post z survivors? If it wouls be too common item since the tents are so rare, then make the crafting cost in mats higher or as high as a base build... at least for the med tent size. As for crafting a pup tent with branches and bush materials, ppl need this more to get out of the rain and heal from sickness more than freezing to death inside an open windowed house beacause lighting a fire just attracts brigands. Hate that tents were changed from healing devices at one time, to the things used to store crap that most people will steal anyway, esp since you cant lock tents or bury them.
