I hoping that client performance optimisation is on the dev roadmap.

Yeah I couldn't place a tent anywhere last night. Even tried in the middle of a flat-ish field, and in the middle of a very flat and very empty courtyard

I'm not sure what the radius is; I'm just going by what the OP said when he was experimenting with his radio

I found a green flare that said it was for a grenade launcher, so perhaps, yes, they are already in DayZ?

Is there any more update on this? I want to believe, but so far, we only have one person claiming to have found a radio at Green Mountain

Is it "later today" yet? I've been holding off playing today until the version...

Yeap I did an investigation of greenmountain. There is a mass grave there, a body bag up the tower, and a lot of dead soldiers.

I can confirm this happened to me as well where a wire kit was available as loot nearby. When I picked up the wire kit, the graphic glitch went away. I have a Radeon 5850 and latest drivers. It hadn't happened to me before the 1.5.7 update

I agree. More zombie? ok, if you must. But having them respawn so quickly, and so nearby, actually breaks the immersion for me, and not only reminds you you're playing a game, but is incredibly frustrating (and not in a good way like the rest of the mod)

Increased number of zombies? NOOOoooooo I hope it doesn't mean zombies can spawn next to you cos that was a real problem with 1.5.5

I've been wondering about those deer stands... why is there military equipment in them, and why are there body bags in some of them? The transmission could just be an automatic military transmission directing lone operatives out in the field where they can get supplies...
