Thanks people, il try a new map then i have always just played cher, and about setting i did everything possible except ram disk, since i am running the game from an ssd i don't think it would do much to help me.

Hi there, sorry if this is out of place but i would like to ask if there are any private dayz modifications that focus on optimisation? I am currently unable to run dayz on more than 20 fps when in a city. I heard something about dayz civilian and wastelands, they do not have zombies but i do not realy care about that, i just want to enjoy the multiplayer part of it in a decent enviroment. If there is a mod that is close to system requirements to like arma 2 or even 3 since i can run arma 3 on 40 fps and 2 is 60 stable on high, please tell me, thanks. Btw cant wait for SA alpha, i got myself a bit better cpu and more ram, and i hope that will be enough since i am expecting the standalone to be optimised. Cheers

After 1.7.1.4 i don't get this error anymore but i still spawn without weapons nad the rest of the basic equipment, its basicaly unplayable this way for a new player like me.

I was in some city and freshy found a revolver and some amo for it some food and blood as well, adn a knife. I logged out and after i few hours joined a server and i got a whole different set of items, not that im complaining i got a map a watch a compas some ammo and a few bandages and flares :D. I just wanted to ask if anyone else had this happen to him and if its something i did to bugg it because it would be stupid if that kept happening. Cheers

You can fix this easy, first you have ot patch your arma 2 game to the beta version not the dayz mod files but the game itself. Here is the guide i used to do it. http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=9314 After i did that i joined the server " canada 2" that one don't know why teleported me in the woods, after that leave the serve since your location is saved and the canada server is on the older version. After that join a server with the same version as you have and if you spawn i nthe woods run a few minutes to east and you should be back in the game world. Or do it like me suicide and get respawned in the gmae world. Hope this helps you. cheers
