canopy tents are quite common, you can find those pretty much anywhere. they are the most visible of the tents though. car tents can be found in hunting lodges and military tents found at military locations. your best bet would be to hop onto a server that is low or empty and loot around until you find 1.

I'd much rather have your idea than any of the above lol its way to silly to have phantoms running around screaming and all the other stuff mentioned above. infections and diseases contracted from infected hits are a must imo.

if I'm not mistaken the despawn time on buried crates and backpacks is 2 weeks I think, im almost certain I read that somewhere. you can only Bury the dry bag and dry backpack, you can probably bury more storage types if you play on a modded server though.

that seems odd if you can't even place it in a field. I haven't had a problem building them on ps4, my base was in a dense forest too and I could still build the flag pole. sounds like a bug to me or the xbox flag pole is just super sensitive to positioning.

I think you just use a hammer and it should give you the option to repair it. have you built a flag pole yet? I think this repairs things in a radius when built so maybe it will repair your fence automatically over time, back to a pristine condition.

there are ways it can be worked around wise guy lol like having the bed roll to be able to be placed only in bases of the player making it. stop acting high and mighty with me man it ain't going to get you anymore browny points from the comments above. 🤣

dude I play vanilla only, official servers only. don't come at me with that "can't handle permadeath" crap, all I'm saying is a limited alternative spawn point would be great for if you build a base to be able to spawn back there lets say if you die from a vehicle glitch and you smash into something through no fault of your own and die. I play on ps4 by the way so I don't have access to this kind of mod you mentioned. I think something like i said to begin with would enhance the gameplay a little and give base building a new incentive, lets be real here if I build a base and it takes me 2 hour lets say and then I get raided whilst online and get killed while being raided, I then have to run from a long way away just to get back to try and defend my base which in turn is futile because there is never just 1 person raiding a base anymore with the addition of the new base durability. I just think building a base is fast becoming obsolete if you don't have the chance to get back quick to try defend it properly, like I said even if its just a limited number of spawns and then if you do use up those limited numbers of spawns then tough luck your base is finished and raided. I really do not think it would destroy the games feel I do however think it would make for some brilliant base raiding strategies and great clan wars.

I'm on ps4 and sadly the same happens to us too. server 1957 and 1882 on eu servers livonia have 2 enormous bases and they are both in the same location in both servers, this leads me to believe that its the same clan of people across multiple servers. they have pretty much claimed every single weapon from military bases and heli crashes and then probably duped so now none spawn back whatsoever. I had to server hop to a asia server to be able to find any sort of high ish end weapon. managed to find 2 big ka 74s and a ka 101 and 2 vaigas, that being said though us real players shouldn't have to server hop in the hopes to find good gear, we should be able to find it in the servers we choose on our own continents. I put dupers down to being shit at the game so they need to dupe in order to have a chance at being successful in game. they need banning permanently if you ask me.

I play on ps4 and I've only experienced this when there is a lack of water in the radiator. its news to me that this has happened to you if you have a full radiator of water. maybe the cars engine is damaged? has it been used by another player before you found it and that player might have crashed into something just enough to make the engine smoke? are you getting a yellow engine icon on the speedometer at the bottom left of the screen?

is this a ps4 server?

with the release of 1.09 in the files it stated that heli loot including guns would be ramped up and would ignore the fact that players who already had vsds and lars buried would affect the spawning of such weapons at heli crashes. im not seeing this personally because every heli crash ive found has 0 weapons on it and its not because people have already found them because yesterday the server reset and I was near gieraltow which I know is good for at least 2 heli spawns and when I logged in there was a fresh heli crash about 10 meters from me, naturally I thought yesssss this is my time to get a vsd or something but nope nothing there at all other than boots and 2 mags. bit disappointing really but oh well ill keep trying I suppose. I will add that on server 1882 and server 1957 eu livonia there is 2 exact same bases at the big industrial area between sitnik and gieraltow, these bases must surely be hoarding all the high end weapons, its the only explanation I have for there being no weapons at heli crashes even though in the 1.09 update files it said players storage of these high end weapons wouldn't affect the spawning of such weapons at heli crashes. so I'm confused as to why I can't find a single AR or vsd there.

1 way that I know people use is [snipping], they [snip] completely [snip] and then [snip] again and they can [snip]. its a bit time consuming but there's nothing a loot hungry day z whore won't do to find the goods.

correct you are, I was in a random party chat last week with some americans and they confessed to have hoarded over 20 aks of various calibre, 9 vsds and 12 lars. I called them out and said no way that they had that kind of firepower and i shit you not they were telling the truth, they went pvping and obviously died a few times but each time they would just server hop and gear back up in 5 minutes flat and then off to pvp again as if it didn't bother them.

I have to agree, all heli crashes i have found have no guns at them whatsoever. the best thing I've found is a full ghillie but never any top end guns. this can only be down to duping right?

whereabouts did you find the tundra? was is official servers or community? anyway check back at the location now and then and it will surely spawn back.

I added a guy I chatted in game with a while back and recently his status keeps popping up on my ps4. its says etc is now online, etc is now offline, like that about 5 or more times. so yea is he duping or ghosting, either way its cheating isn't it?

food is harder to come by now yes but I only ever die as a freshie if I don't find food and water in time, that being said I rarely die as a freshie too as I just kill zombies for the odd can of drink or food or make a stone knife and slaughter a chicken which are easily found in all the towns. I like this new loot economy because it also puts more emphasis on hunting deer and boar etc etc, so soon as you have a gun and some ammo you should listen out for the various animal sounds and home in for the kill, gather all the animal fat you can and cook it and there you are set for a good time with a belly full of the good stuff. (I wouldn't bother trying to farm because the veg you grow is sustainable enough in my opinion as it takes copius amounts to satisfy your hunger)

I'm on official/public servers, 1957 to be precise.

I'm not having a problem finding nails since 1.09, as a matter of fact I have about 20 boxes in storage now to increase my base defences 10 fold.

I did read something somewhere about the rail system being utilised for a train of sorts but I've heard nothing more on the subject. and yes totally agree, the cars need to be worked on, this should be a priority of the devs.

I found a deagle with full attachments the other day and I found 2 pistol scopes in a military base near tarnow, it just depends on where you are searching and whether anyone has got to them first. they are not really rare items but that being said neither are they very common items. just got to be in the right place i guess.
