dayz tries to burn your cpu?

Today a flat temperature line after login (observed zombies and players fighting each other, room temperature 27°C) Thanks for disabling the cpu burner!

I would like to see your image, unfortunately the url returns an error: Imgur is temporarily over capacity. Please try again later.

DayZ is a tech demo not a game

Survival game against cheaters. Are the developers really so stupid or is it really impossible to detect and ban cheaters for ever? This game should be renamed "Who is the best cheater" Why do developers of hacks feel so secure and create entire websites with hack offers? Sometimes I think the developers of the game are the hack developers themselves, because you can make more money with them than with the actual game.

How many days does it take here until a post is unlocked in which an image URL has been embedded? My last post is still hidden

dayz tries to burn your cpu?

Here is the temperature curve of my cpu since dayz login. The yellow rectangle shows the rising temperature about 40 seconds after login. In the bios settings I adjusted the fans so that it only begins to increase rpm from 40% to 80% at 70°C - 75°C. That's why I noticed it and I'm wondering what it's all about, because it doesn't fit in with the game at all. My system is not overclocked and I only play at 60fps in full hd. During the rest of the line, I was sitting in a bush. When I use Cinebench23 max temperature is 62°C. So this calculations in the game are aggressive.

dayz tries to burn your cpu?

Now the sudden and inappropriate CPU load is around 120 seconds. It can therefore be adjusted on the server side. Obviously they are trying to cover up the scam. The best thing to do is to turn this crap off completely.
  7. The CPU temperature rises for about 10 seconds every 40 seconds after a login. My 5900X reaches up to 75°C because the 3 CPU fans are already rotating at 80% of maximum power. That's really annoying. It doesn't even matter what you're doing in the game. You can also just stand still in a closed shed or whatever, the calculations that the CPU has to perform don't match the gameplay at all! I have to assume that there is another intention behind this. These calculations are also carried out again a few minutes later, but no measurements have been taken here. During the game, my CPU fans (iCue H150i Pro XT) usually only run at 40% power and I can hardly hear them. So, what is happening in the background? Is the CPU being misused for other things?

    Your game is BROKEN!

But the netcode is indead a bug. When a server is empty or very low you can drive a car like on rails. But as soon as a handful of players are on the server, driving becomes very unpleasant and bumpy. As soon as you get in as a driver, the car starts dancing on the spot, even though the engine hasn't started yet. And then the server always slows down the car or wants to correct the position, just to keep it in sync and to give players nearby the real position of the car. But this synchronization obligation makes driving a car a pain.

    You are dead!

I drove my car slowly over a level crossing in Topolin. The car lay on its side. Then it seemed to explode: You're dead! Speed may be was at 20 km/h. But I know that it is possible to cross it with 50 km/h without problems. But a moment before I ran over some zombies with my car. Instant karma? Sometimes I have the impression that I'm playing against a server admin in the background, who sees exactly what you're doing (screencopy-forwarding) and can create events at the push of a button with a tool: "Car rollover and explosion", "Let car drive against an obstacle", "Get car off the road.", "Bring six wolves in without howling", "Let it rain for one hour", "Let the player just die for no reason", "Send an invisble speed hack bear, but bear roars, just one hit for unconsciousness" etc.

    Your game is BROKEN!

No, your communication to the server is broken. Try another server with low ping. DayZ always tries to be synchron with the server. When I get a "bug" you discribe I leave the server and relog again. This can happen sometime. Last time I was running on the road when another player with car drove by and stopped to give me a ride to the next town. But first he got out to axt some zombies. When he tried to enter the car again, he couldnt interact with the car any more. He logged out and came back after some time. He could enter the car again.

    Start parameters obsolet?

My first observation was not entirely correct. Certain parameters are being ignored. But I can actually use the task manager to determine how many cores the program can use. I have now set it so that Core 0 should remain free for the system. Process priority to high. This is also indicated by the workload display in Afterburner. I no longer use the parameters "-cpuCount=4 -exThreads=7 -maxMem=8192 -maxVRAM=2047 -malloc=system". The workload is now distributed over 5 cores (50%-70%). Actually the game seems to be quite well optimized by now, otherwise it seems to be smooth. But is there any info about whether the game will be optimized for Dx12 to benefit from more "draw calls"? Or doesn't that make sense because the game remains rather cpu intensive?

    Start parameters obsolet?

Hello, I would like to know if the following start parameters are still usefull for dayz sa. I ve found them on other sites. The reason why I was testing them out, is, that the game stutters sometime, when it loads items or zombies into game. So I thought that may be the amount of threads is not optimal for my old system. My system is: Win 10 pro, CPU i7 3930K @ 3,8 (6 core, HT disabled), 16 GB RAM, GTX 980 4 GB vRAM, game installed on Crucial SSD 1 TB, virtual memory on a non system ssd fixed size. My start parameters are: -cpuCount=4 -exThreads=7 -maxMem=8192 -maxVRAM=2047 -malloc=system -noBenchmark -noLogs -noSplash -noPause Today I ve installed MSI afterburner and I could see that dayz is always using all cores and more RAM / vRAM than I tried to limit with the start parameters. In the taskmanager I even have disabled core 0 and 1 for the dayz_x64.exe, but no change. I tried to limit the core use just to keep two core free for the os and other stuff. Are the parameters outdated and not used by dayz anymore?

    You are dead!

This type of "hacker" death is not the first time on this server. It usually happens on Saturdays. I use just two server only, one low player and one high player 60 slot official server. I wonder why this server is often occupied despite the hackers. Hackers are a great nuisance and yet the players are not driven away. This server is usually very busy. I switched back to this server after a long time, because it got a bit boring on the other server with the small number of players. The official servers are not maintained by admins, right? So it is not possible that an admin does not want me on this server?

    You are dead!

And you don't know why! I left a dearstand to go back to huta, sun set almost dark. No shot, no player. My body armor (press) had the status prestine. You suddenly see the message you re dead. The message "you re dead" with the black screen is fraud! I want an explanation: You were shot by the player ... You re killed by a bear trap, mine or granade. Something like that. And I want back the dead animation. Falling down to ground, slowly losing the consciousness to have a chance to see there was a player or smoke from detonation.

My new friend is a hacker.

The developers of the game are the hackers themselves. I have received confirmation of this today. I have really good hiding places. However, yesterday I found out that a hacker has stolen items from my boxes again, even though it was impossible to find them! I therefore moved yesterday. I hid all the crates somewhere else in a 2 km distance by car. And only a few hours later the car is gone and a whole lot of the items. On a server with only a handful of players! I would like to warn everyone and ask them not to invest more time in this game! This game belongs on the scrap heap!
