After opening fire on a player tonight only to find him Alt F4 like the umpteen others before him I decided to rack my brain for a solution. Since there have been issues with a timeout after the player has Alt f4’d why not have a timeout before they get the chance? I think everyone by now knows how to Alt F4, it takes only three easy steps, hit Escape > Alt > F4, and poof, you’ve disconnected without any repercussions. SOLUTION My humble suggestion is to set a delay of X amount, say 10 seconds between hitting the ESC key and the ESC key actually doing anything, like bringing up the menu. This will interrupt the process of the person being able to disconnect. I believe that this will add only the smallest of inconvenience to every player but make a massive difference in curbing / discouraging this type of behaviour. ----------- If this has been suggested before I apologise. If you think the idea could work please give this positive feedback. If you think I’m an idiot that’s fine also.

You will eventually have every player running around with ghillie, highest tier weapons, gps, nvg's the lot. Not a good idea sorry. -

Alt F4 does not work unless you hit escape. -

Like I said a 'small inconvenience'. Waiting a few seconds to change graphics / audio is reasonable. True hacking is priority, but this needs solving none the less. -

I'm on patch 95248 and I can confirm that the 1911 seem to now take 3 shots to kill zombies if it's not in the head :( -

For those who don't use twitter "Services have now been restored thanks to solid efforts from Ander and Viper. Although there may be additional outages at any time." -Rocket -
1. Be able to shoot / hack (Hachet) while running 2. Weapons / Tools wear over time 3. I would like to see high value loot spawn more widely. At the moment every time I go to NW Airfield I'm either gunned down, or get there and there's just rubbish there.

I think it would be amazing if certain items degraded over time, adding another dimension to realism. Here are a few examples: • Knifes / Hatchets becoming blunt after x number of uses. o Solution: Take item to a smithing stand and use a grinding wheel to sharpen. Or find another one. • Running out of matches after x number of uses. • Torches / weapon torches / NVGs / watches / run out of batteries after a certain amount of usage. o Solution: Implement batteries into the game, then players have to find them. • Weapons degrade over time, leading to issues such as jamming or a piece breaking (firing pin etc.). o Solution: Maybe the condition of the weapon could be displayed, similar to the status of vehicles. You would have to visit a gun cleaning / repairing stand. I believe Rocket wants to make more buildings accessible in the future so maybe these ideas could be put to good use. If you like the idea, want to add one or think I’m an idiot please let me know! Sorry if this has been previously discussed :)

I love the fact that you can lose zombies now. Even though they're stronger if you duck into a building and out the other side generally it's not a problem. However I can’t wait till z's no longer hit through walls / stairs, the amount of times I’ve broken legs due to this is unreal. You're doing a stellar job Rocket, and give me and many others countless hours of fun! -
Blood cells are created through the consumption of food, so why regen is needed also I fail to understand. If you want realism then you should eat, gain no immediate blood increase and then a slow increase over time. However the game would then become extremely difficult :)

Should there be an Admin text channel?

Since Side and Global channels are effectively gone I'm struggling to understand how one would contact an admin if they spot any unfair play e.g. hacking / spawn killing. This may also lead to an increase in players abusing / breaking server rules, as the prevalence of such activities can surely no longer be monitored? Should there then be a channel that people can use to talk directly to an Admin if they're online? Sorry if this has been asked/ answered before. -

I have now changed my settings to low for antisoptoric, and it seems to be working. Leave anti-aliasing off.
