    Why does it show players on my map?

    This feature seems hit and miss, on my map its shown both players and zombies as blue dots named 'man', hopefully that will stop people using it as a gps to your location

    Choose gun or no gun on spawn

    Weaponless guys would be "farmed" for that better stuff early on. Must be same grounds for both and I've greatly enjoyed my new life with no gun. With makarov I can just run thru the nearest town and pop the zombies inside a house, without a weapon I have to actually put some thought into the game and every item found feels like a small victory. This +10000

    This idea is rad, including the 'taking the edge off being a murder' bandit mechanic. +1 Also, if we're talking addiction to Alcohol, wouldn't the same go for painkillers? I think in a situation like the zombie apoc. addition to such things would happen a hell of alot with people just trying to cope with whats going on.

    I let out a 'urrrrrhhhhhhh' when I'm caught off guard, so does my friend that I play with, players is more of a 'oh shit did they see us?' type reaction

    Logical suggestion - Remove NVG?

    I do think taking them out completely or having them use batteries etc would encourage more people to play at night, but ofcourse, people will still complain about how dark it is, so the servers still won't be full. Night time on the game is pretty scary, and the NVG takes away the fear because you can see everything, so really, its just day time with less players equaling more loot. At night zombies become less of a nuisance like day time for vet players, and become what they should be, terrifying

    The game is survival, theres no need for objectives or missions in the standard "quest" format, I honestly think that set up will ruin the game. Keep it as it is, survival sandbox, if its getting old, come back to it after a break, it'll be brand new again

    why do people have difficulties starting w/o weapons

    EXACTLY, What would they if this was a real situation? run and hide, which is what you need to do in the game, how difficult is it to translate that thought process?

    So....when will it be playable?

    So far the only problem I've faced was falling through the wall on top of the hospital to my death, had some good gear, but don't get sweaty about it because this is an Alpha test stage, people seem to forget this(alot) Just be patient, take a break if you need to then come back to it

    why do people have difficulties starting w/o weapons

    I prefer starting without a weapon, I actually seem to survive a lot longer now, I guess when we all used to spawn with guns, the attitude was, if I aggro anything, I'll shoot it. Where as now, you have to be more carefully. Just my opinion ofcourse, but I think no weapon is for the better.

    Fexzz's idea annnnnnnd Pvt Parts ideas are both great, it'd sweet to get a limited alpha test type t shirt and the "who's shooting in Cherno"/Friendly in Cherno are sick ideas.
  19. they do seem to gravitate towards players, I've played with a few people who have all said the same thing too I haven't seen much of a pattern either, it does seem completely random

    6 hours is quite impressive in a high traffice area, normally I can hope for a total of about 7 seconds before being lit up by random bandits etc, siiiiiigh However, good on you sir, I hope I run into you, rather than someone else at the fire station

I've literally only got one gripe with this game( and its not really a gripe because it makes you panic more which at the end of the day is whats supposed to happen in a survival horror) and that is that the zeds run so irratically it makes them pretty hard to hit, I've even been overtaken by them and then they bear off to the right and start trailing me again. But like I said, its not really a problem because it actually makes the game more frantic when trying to shoot them. I really don't see why people are complaining about difficulty, at the end of the day, surviving in that in enviroment would be one of if not the hardest situation ever.
