I hope there are no "events" it would feel like GW2 then :( Also, I think despawning tents has merits however, it doesn't make sense from a realism point of view. Another survivor should still have the chance to stumble across a dead guys tent and loot it. It's a tough one but I think my end game would be to establish a camp and then help other survivors. Main reason for this is I'd hope this is what I'd try to do in a real apocalypse.

haha not a problem at all, fully understand the shoot on sight policy. It's why this game is so good as it makes nice people do nasty things to survive :) Just so you know, I am friendly and normally frequent those DE (UTC-5) servers or the UK 22 one if you ever want to team up. If you'd caught me in the woods across the road from the deer stand you'd have got my fire and raw / cooked meat lol I had literally just found those matches on another players corpse and was well chuffed as it was the first time I'd been able to do the whole fire, cooked meat and regain blood thing.

I love the sound of this and totally support it. I think nothing at all should spawn inside the the town though once liberated (with the exception of maybe trash loot just for asthetics). It would ultimately just become a base camp for a survivor colony to store their loot. If left unattended / unguarded then it becomes vulnerable to bandits / looters / zombies and would need to be cleared out or even liberated again.

Date/Time: Tuesday 26th June @ 11pm GMT What happened: I was killed by a player but when I respawned, I had all my gear that I had died with and was standing over my old corpse. Where you were: In the forest near the deer stand north of Vyshnoye What you were doing: I was afk helping my wife with a spreadsheet problem (school boy, I know!) *Current installed version: 1.7.1.5 *Server(s) you were on: I think it was DE 74 but can’t be certain *Your system specs: Dell XPS 420, Windows 7, Intel Quad Core Q6600 2.4ghz, 4gb RAM, Nvidia GeForce 8800GTX 768mb. The only other program that was running (other than Six Launcher and ARMA2) were AVG and MSI Afterburner (to monitor my GPU FPS and temperature). *Timeline of events before/after error: BEFORE: I spawned near Vyshnoye, looted a few buildings there and found a player corpse with matches and a compass. Headed into the woods, cooked me up some meat and then headed to check out the deer stand. After checking that out, I stop at the north side of the forest and went afk, shortly after, I got shot by a player. BUG: When I respawned, I had everything I had before (my Enfield, all my ammo as well the matches and compass) and I was standing over my own corpse (which I looted, it was missing the matches and compass but had everything else). I then decided I was one lucky SOB so decided to leave the area asap, however, the player that had killed me, was still around and shot me again. AFTER: When I respawned this time, I was where I expected to be (on the coast) with the correct starting gear. Perhaps it was just a glitch but thought I’d report it anyway.

Hi All, While playing yesterday and today, I've found it difficult to find any weapons except for the hatchet or crow bar. I'm checking the Deer Stands west of Bor, the farm build west of bor, the military / factory style building north side of Electro, the control tower and hangers at the south west airstrip but only really finding ammo. Previously I would have found a shotgun or something at least. Is this just my unfortunate timing and someone has beaten me to them or perhaps I missed a patch note? Anyone else noticed this as well? Cool, thanks for the responses. I'll keep plodding away and try some new locations to see if that helps. I suppose the places I'm checking are fairly close to the coast so maybe I should head further in land. Cheers Pinky
