    Need immidiete help!

I cant say for sure, but Ive tried it with my laptop (2.1ghz dual, 8gb ram, radeon hd 4200 256mb) and that couldnt run arma2 let alone dayz. BUT, I play it on my PC (4.2ghz quad. 4gb ram, msi 560 ti 1gb) and that runs arma2 at ~40fps on full, and dayz ~ 30fps on full. So I recon you could definatly play, but not on full im afraid.

    What's Your Survival "Workflow?"

lolol, If I get a chance I try and spawn near cherno and run around looking for survivors, then just keep drawing zombies to them. Having no weapon means no stopping to aim and being vulnerable to being shot etc. Also making an annoying noise over the direct comms is always good, and attracts zombies better. If im being serious though, then my main priority is to get TOOLS and a BAG, maybe a weapon, say a hatchet. But most of the buildings like the pub, appartments etc will have tools and guns. Then food and drink, and also check out the military hospital camp tents, cos its possible (but rare) for them to spawn rare weapons like DMRs. By this time I would have met up with teammates but if not then its up to stary sober, then the NW airfield to do some server swapping. It honestly only take about a day of playing to get back to a decent state (plenty of food, drink, ammo, tools etc. High grade stuff like GPS etc should be the least of your worries.

    Satchel Charges

Im sure this has been asked before, but are satchel charges legit loot? Ive just found some in NW barracks and they have a picture and everything, which is what I thought was the indication of a hacked item.

    Server hopping is cheating!!

I don't think its so much as evil cheating (like hax) as everyone can do it and it doesn't really hurt anyone (unless you're unlucky). However (like Ive joyfully done before) when you go to the NW airfield and sit in the barracks and server switch, it kinda defeats the object of the challenge of avoiding snipers whilst being there. I switched about 5 times in there and found the M136, satchel charges, M4SD etc. Only good thing is that downed helis cant be exploited by this. Now I know how people have good loot...
  5. Just had this idea for an alternate character. Ok, please shout at me if this is crap, as I just thought of it and had to write it down. And also, this is not meant to offend, the technicalities are just handicaps to make this fair. Basically, you spawn as a "Working class weapon specialist" (only way I could describe it). You spawn with an uber-weapon (m249, fn fal etc), but not one with a scope. To balance this, the character is incredibly obese, and walks at a speed (lets say half) which will inevitably result in death if attacked by a zombie. Also, if killed, the uber-weapon would be un-lootable. This could be a way of just letting people to have a chance to use the uber-weapons briefly.

    HACKERS

WARNING Had a very bad experience with hackers on US25 around the NE area. We (about 5 of us) first found a truck which was FULL of NVGs, SVDs, M249s and A LOT of ammo. We then got sniped in a VERY quick succession from a quick firing weapon. Too fast for normal game play, definitely and aimbot. Don't know who it was, just look out.
