    statistically every update drop has been on a Wednesday, so my money is on the 4th 😄 that is except the initial launch of the 1.0 that was a Monday is not going to be calculated into my argument! lol because I don't like it hehehe but seriously Wednesdays are a thing for BI!

    now, I've had no issues with the fireplaces or even campfires, they warm you up, you just have to stay in the warmth radius (which granted is a little small)

    they did have open beta's for testing the 1.06 for chernarus after they finished the Livonia testing, with a bunch of servers being turn on to chernarus.

    I knew that it was an "accidental" leak but right now with no confirmation of any date it feels a lot like teasing (if get my meaning) and I love a good lead up to a good release as much as the next person! but seriously uncool at this stage lol I noticed a lot of the mechanics they are implementing in 1.06 was being tested on the Livonia map and they were working really well (apart form the odd thing which devs would be working on currently) so I think the experimental testing of 1.06 will be short lived anyways. just my two cents worth. as for no one knowing which date is release, we all know that's porky pies!! lol Bohemia Interactive we know your having way too much fun with this 😞 maybe, Bohemia confirming whether it will or not be the 13th would solve this issue? 😄

    hello everyone! I don't often post here in the forums, except to help peeps who have the same issues I have dealt with on our server, so I really hope I can get an answer to my question. what is the release date for Livonia? is it the 13th of November? now I ask for a simple reason (other than the fact I loved Livonia on the beta servers and am dying to play it) people aren't happy about no information about the release date and are holding off playing dayz (which is a terrible thing for servers) until the release. with a date in mind server admins can adjust game play and make the last "few days" (here's hoping lol) a bit of a wild west and PVP it up (esp. if the server is a bit stricter with pvp rules), thus keeping the interest in chernarus alive for the time being. by the way loved Livonia and the car scavenge mechanic you have made - just awesome!

    PLEASE NOTE TO COPY AND LABLE YOUR ORIGANAL SETTINGS FOR YOUR SERVER ON TO WORD PAD OR SOMETHING SIMILAR SO IF YOU DO MUCK UP YOU HAVE THEM THERE AS BACKUP. this took me literally over a hundred hours of planning and testing, and it was implemented on our server (and will again) when winter is upon us. hope this helps guys

    so the next area I will tell you about is the random events spawn, which you alter the number events that allow the wolves to spawn in, at any one time (usually up to) it's in the File Manager > \mpmissions\dayzOffline.chernarusplus\db\events.xml scroll down until you find the following: </event> <event name="AnimalWolf"> <waves>0</waves> <nominal>4</nominal> <min>5</min> <max>8</max> <lifetime>180</lifetime> <restock>0</restock> <saferadius>200</saferadius> <distanceradius>0</distanceradius> <cleanupradius>0</cleanupradius> <flags deletable="0" init_random="0" remove_damaged="1"/> <position>fixed</position> <limit>child</limit> <active>1</active> <children> <child lootmax="0" lootmin="0" max="6" min="2" type="Animal_CanisLupus_Grey"/> <child lootmax="0" lootmin="0" max="4" min="0" type="Animal_CanisLupus_White"/> </children> so we'll go down the list (If I miss a line miss it also) nominal- the amount of spawns that are normal on the server (this is an up to number) in this case 4 min - min amount of wolves in the pack in this case 5 max- max amount of wolves in the pack in this case 8 don't worry about anything else until children the max and min are the max and min of that type of wolf in each pack, obviously white and grey so when I changed up our server I had it look like </event> <event name="AnimalWolf"> <waves>0</waves> <nominal>7</nominal> <min>5</min> <max>12</max> <lifetime>180</lifetime> <restock>0</restock> <saferadius>200</saferadius> <distanceradius>0</distanceradius> <cleanupradius>0</cleanupradius> <flags deletable="0" init_random="0" remove_damaged="1"/> <position>fixed</position> <limit>child</limit> <active>1</active> <children> <child lootmax="0" lootmin="0" max="6" min="2" type="Animal_CanisLupus_Grey"/> <child lootmax="0" lootmin="0" max="6" min="3" type="Animal_CanisLupus_White"/> </children> yes I know i'm a nasty bitch!!! lol

I set the radius to a flat 160 (the r) for the water and rest, and 250 for the hunting grounds. LEAVE EVERYTHING ELSE IN PLACE DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING ELSE. the rest and water (we think) are activated randomly (water) via the number of wolf spawn you set in the next area I will tell you about, and rest is waiting for players or events (ie deer) to activate them. the hunting grounds we think are areas that they patrol and are already spawned into also via the next area.

    Hi there my lovely brains trust! I am having issues with finding any information at all on the wolf spawn xml. so my problem is that (I newbie and uneducated in coding at all) I am unaware of/cant' find what the different spawn areas for the wolves are. so they are WATER REST HUNTING GROUND what do each area actually do? got me frustrated to say the least thanks everyone mum ps. or if you know where it is, a page that actually explains it lol

    ok I think I have figured it out (maybe lol) water rest and hunting grounds are I think as follows. water means they can activate randomly and without player presence, rest means that the wolf spawn is activated by players in the zone and hunting grounds are the area on influence (activation areas) other than the previous two. so each area of a wolf spawn has 4 - 5 water /rest spawns with another 4-6 hunting grounds. but to expand on why I wanted to know this info, it's because we are making our server winter for 1 week a month with wolf zones being added onto for simulation of them roaming more into the "populated" areas of the map. also hoping it scares the crap outta players when they are happily walking through a "safe" area and hear wolves howling hehehehe

I really don't know about anyone else but when you get your base and shit all sorted out and have enough ammo and guns for both this apocalypse and the next, it gets a little snooze fest. maybe the Devs could look into having "missions" pop up. daily or weekly ones which you get say a box of nails for daily and a rare pistol for the weekly ones (something like that) for the missions it could be collect 5 fx-45's or something similar just a thought?
