about cold i guess you walked too long under rain or in wet status.....beware cold isn't so lethal (stay indoor, eat, use dry clothes) but when you are coughing other players can hear you and determine where you are

hi, i play only on official server ps4, namely EU9161 EU9215 and EU9314, i'm 70% loot addicted, 30% other, searched repeater in town/village/hunting/military, never found. i have no problem finding vaiga, blaze since the patch that introduces them. zero repeater, zero ammo, zero special slug, it is very strange after so many hours

with the last patches they should have fixed weapon reloading bug. I used blaze with internal magazine and have no problem reloading with holding triangle (and weapon ready on hand of course). Now i use vaiga with 2 external magazine (8 bullets) and provide they are full, no problem reloading holding triangle

hi survivors, here are some questions: 1) if i'm in a town and it begins to rain, it's raining in all server? 2) if i dig a field backpack (or other that isn't drybag) how many days or hours until it disappear/or become ruined? 3) someone find repeater or reapeter ammo? where? civil? military? hunting?

experiment failed: actually you can't bury any backpak except drypack, drysack, wooden crate and sea chest. Sadly...

enter server with medium/high population, check player list, check player profile, send friend request or text to a nickname of your country or that you feel comfortable, be friend and companions on dayz

some personal thoughts: helicrashes are really most dangerous spot in the game. When you discover one (no smoked heli = less dangerous because more difficult to see far away) my hint is run toward it, grab swiftly only high valour item (ghillie and weapons) and flee. Sure, that is a dangerous way 'cause of deadly sniper, but if you see 4 military zombies maybe no one reached it....maybe. About rain: best equip is the fireman jacket + fireman pants + raincoat, you have less resistance (specially with zombies) but you smile at rainstorms

1) about raining maybe i wrote in wrong way, here my question: if i'm in server 1234 and begin raining, in all that server (coast, innerland) raining at same intensity? 2) i think that 40+ more days apply only to drybag/sea chest/wooden crate. All other backpack less days, but i'm doing a test: digged a field backpack and a hunting backpack, i will check after 7 days 3) happy to see that repeater is so common. I'm loot addicted 🙋‍♂️ and like to often change weapon and combat style.

of course, if you want restart in the exact place where you quit you have to choose exact server, otherwise you random respawn but always with items you are carrying

if the heart icon has arrow up in icon you eventually recovery, but it need long time than before, they patched and slowed recovery

if your blood icon is very slowly grew up, there is hope, but it will need some time. you have to hide in a bush/tree/house in the few moments before fall again on ground, then you must wait until blood icon is not flashing anymore, in a few minutes you manage to recover but you have to fear death for hunger and player enemies so hide well. When it happened to me i collapse on ground 6-7 times before recovering, the gray colors of the screen will disappear after blood icon back to white

no, there are 4 camouflage clothings, you can craft them only in tan color. ghillie hood - covers the head ghillie bushrag - covers the shoulders ghillie top - covers upper body ghillie full suit - covers all there is also ghillie wrap, covers weapon (one version for pistol, one for rifles)

i follow dayz twitter and forum every day but someone may miss them. Next time i propose a little note (as that of bug hunt) that appear in the start of the game. "beware, some servers will shut down/change, go forum/twitter for details"

hello survivors, i start to discover dayz cooking wonders. some noob doubts... 1) i use cooking pot with portable gas stove (large gas canister), to turn on gas canister i must have a matches ready on hand or not? i did it but after many times, i don't remember (now i'm not before ps4) 2) i store several meats in cooking pot for future use, in the pot there is also water......food ruin with passing of time or not? 3) i can create many boiled meats, can i store in pot for future use (with water) or i must store in inventory avoiding ruin them? i'm not sure if it's better raw and store, or cook and store... p.s. i assume that boiled is the best for cooked meat, right?

as loot-addicted i usually spend nightime in military bases, nvg on of course, so i prefer dark nights. But in all honesty, on ps4 server daytime there are 25+ player, night comes, number magically reduced to 5 player. I don't think game developers like it so they try something new.

be aware, i don't speak for pc but for console players. some option are "hidden" when you aim an item. if you look carefully near the option item description may be a little arrow icon, it means that other option are avaiable. as example: a player find portable gas stove, combine with gas container, try to turn on and 99% it doesn't work, it seem bugged but not in truth. you have to aim stove, option are only to get not to turn on, but see description, push arrow up in game pad and right turn on option appear. maybe it will help you

in your experience (or others) is better to have stored in pot 2 lard fats (baked) or 6 chicken steaks (boiled)?

mmmmh i don't eat fruit since last patch: maybe i was unluck, but those i found were all infected and get me sick. About food, try follow these steps 1) go in a city/town if born in wild area, jump in other server then come back. main goals: open canister, water bottle, canned food (house or zombie) 2) eat and drink until stomach full icon appear, then have some food in stock, then start looking for portable gas stove, gas container (large is best of course) , cooking pot. kill some animal (chicken, sheep, pig) and store in the pot. Now you can manage food/drink threat

it happened to me too.....but there is a solution: after several minutes i manage to hold sea chest on hands (i change many camera angle to do that). After that i log out, wait until server restart, and then all was fine. of course you can change server and try if this fix bug (which can be an item in the chest or the chest itself), or you can dig chest and wait if server restart fix it. never give up!
