Yeah that personal light actually makes it harder to see stuff in the distance often haha. I also think that it looks very unnatural and i never needed it. I think hardcore servers could definetly do without it, they are supposed to be hardcore after all 😉

I would like it if a .45 bullet in the heart would actually kill an unarmored freshie who's trying to hit me with a shovel. Also it would be nice if you actually had to hit someone on the head like in version .62 to knock them out. As far as i know even the bk rifle rarely kills you in one shot unless it's a headshot, making the shovel way deadlier hahaha!

Sometimes I get kicked every 5 minutes, then other times i only get kicked every hour or so. Is this a glitch or do i get kicked because i have lagspikes that make my ping go over the allowed limit from time to time?

The fog looks nice in this game, it's just a shame that it *always* starts fogging-out everything after 4oo meters. There are *NEVER* super cool silent hill vibes where the fog limits your visibility to 20 meters only. There are NEVER beatiful days where you can climb a tower and see the land in the distance or snipe. Always the same weather. Please make it more differentiated 🙂

Doesn't have to have been a cheater right? You can snipe people from over a kilometer away in this game, and the bullet kills you before you hear the shot because most bullets fly faster than sound. And yeah i hate that item-going-underground glitch. On 3pp public servers there is actually an insane amount of hackers, met 3 different hackers within 20 minutes yesterday, play on 1pp public or some community servers to be safe, have not met a single hacker on those.

Sometimes i get lucky and find an aksu! Also got a fal recently on a chopper crash on 1pp public. two months ago i got a vss on another chopper crash on 1pp public. I guess you have to be lucky at a chopper crash to get cool stuff, i like how rare these cool guns are makes them more special.

Yep, it's ridiculous how many hackers you encounter on 3pp public servers, for months there has been a 60% chance of meeting a hacker every time i play on there. If you still want to play try 1pp only public or community servers, i have not met a single hacker there.

It can't be done

A lot of public (official) vanilla servers, I have no problems finding full ones. A bunch of community vanilla servers too, they are not very full most of the time, except for TheRunningManZ (The Eu one) which can easily have a queue of 20 people haha

Yeah the big apartment buildings weirdly don't spawn any loot, don't go in them looking for stuff. Luckily the apartments are the only type of building that doesn't spawn loot. I play regularly and my characters never get deleted, unless the server gets wiped which happens on some communtiy servers. You might have joined a server with a different character database than the one that has your character on it, or someone killed you while you were logging out (your char stays on the server for 15 seconds while logging out and can be killed). it's supposed to be hard to find food and drink in this game, but it gets a lot easier when you get to know the game better, it's a good idea to play with some experienced players and watch tutorials. The further you go inland the better the loot you find.

I would love to have this as a feature in-game though hahaha. The fact that it would probably have no use other than aesthetics makes it even funnier. I would totally smoke all the time in-game.

It's incredibly easy to stay fed. Just catch a fish, cook and eat it. It will keep you fed for aaaages. Spawn, find a knife, cut up clothes until you have 2 stacks of 6 rags, combine them into a rope, cut down a large bush for a long stick, combine the long stick and your rope into a fishing rod, skin a dead player/chicken for bones, combine your knife and a bone for a fishing hook, dig up a worm from the ground (dirt), combine your hook and worm, put the worm-hook onto your fishing rod, fish in any body of water, cut up your fish into filets, put it on a long stick, hold it over a fire, eat de fish. Another aboslutely important thing is to keep your temperature high enough so that your thermometer stays white and doesnt go blue. When you are cold (blue thermometer icon) you starve to death insanely fast. I always throw 2-3 worms into a fire, then keep them in my jacket/pants/vest (backpack doesn't warm you). This way you will never be cold haha.

Could always just be a random sniper. If this happened on a 3pp official server it was probably a hacker. I have never seen a single hacker on public 1pp only servers, though almost every time I play on 3pp public I either meet a speedhacker within the first hour or get shot through a wall. I also liked the deaths in version .62 better, you would hear or see what killed you for 2 or so seconds and watch yourself fall to the ground, then the screen would turn black.

Kill a deer/cow/sheep, cook all of it's meat and eat it all. You will be fed for at least 1.5 hours!

I always just run inland and kill the next big animal I see. Just eat a whole sheep and you'll be fine from then on haha.

You can easily 1-shot Zeds with an axe to the face (or slightly above the face), even if it's not a power attack. Don't know how to remove them from the game though, sorry.
