Even though there are massive flaws in the game (hacking, no *big* new things anymore like Machine Guns, Helis, Bikes, Bows, ragdolls, Clouds), every update fixes a good amount of bugs, makes cars more stable, and adds good, huge re-balancing and a few nice bits of content. I really like the design direction the game is moving in too! 😀

It does feel like that though 😆 It really feels like every time i get lucky in-game and get a nice loadout i get insta-sniped along with all my friends next to me or in the same town. It completely takes away the want to play or recommend this game, whatever i achieve will be hacked. Why loot four hours when it will just disappear in an instant without the payoff of atleast one cool shootout. First time in over a year i got a FAL and my friend had an SVD. Before we could do anything with them we both got insta-sniped (platecarriers and on opposite sides of the same town, I was in the forest). This hacker has the SVD and FAL, and presumably they will stay with him until he dies and no new ones will spawn. He has a 1km bubble around him that instakills anyone,i don't think he will die. 😭 Banned accounts should have their Survivors deleted so guns can go back into the LEC.

This also annoyed me often, but actually it is just logical. The Zombies hear a loud noise and go investigate, they are actively trying to find someone at that location. It wouldnt make sense if they look *Just* for the guy that shot, if you are sitting outside next to the gunshot ofcourse they will see you. If you shoot and run you will get all the zombies on you, it does not reward those players in my opinion. What I do like about this is that you can use this when someone has you pinned down in a building to get zombies to help you, you shoot in the air and the zombies attack the people outside of the building.

Gun bashes are especially prone to go through people/zombies it seems to me.

I like that night vision goggles are as OP as they are, it (seems) is realistic. Just as having an AK with a drum mag is OP compared to players who don't have one. I do log out at night for this reason though sometimes, because I know that I can't do anything against night vision people. If I want to have nighttime without this astronomical but good level of imbalance, I join a bright nights server, or a dark nights server with night vision disabled.

Almost all of my characters find a Deagle pretty early on, most of them i find *in the spawn towns*. This really kills the fun of looting for me since all of the following guns become obsolete to me, again, after looting *the town i spawn in*: All shotguns, all pistols, AKS, All SMG. 😲 This also makes the Deagle feel really un-special to me, it is supposed to be an exotic over the top gun, yet you can find it in every village in Chernarus, from time to time two per village (Cherno, Elektro, Berezino). I guess the reason everyone lives in a tiny bungalow is because they all spent their money on (*GOLD PLATED*) ridiculously large and expensive pistols from Arabia. 😗 This also hurts the whole setting for me, I see Deagles around every corner, I feel like I am on de_dust2 rather than post apocalyptic Czech Republic, from the last time i had seen an SVD or VSS (fitting guns) I have seen at least 30 deagles and at least 10 gold plated ones.😮 At one time I had a Golden Deagle and my friend had a Golden *and* a regular one, this was on 3pp pub after killing a bunch of geared guys though to be fair.🤩 It is also very imbalanced that (in my opinion) the best sidearm in the game can easily be found along the coast, it one-shots unarmored players and fits into a t-shirt with an extra mag and 40 rounds of ammunition, it is also the most easy gun to find a suppressor for.🤨 *SUGGESTION* Give the Deagle 0.9 times the spawn rate/amount of an SVD and give Golden Deagle 10% of the SVD, better yet just one Golden per server. 😀 This way you will actually feel like you have a treasure and you are one of the few real badasses in chernarus.😎 P.s. : This also counts for the epic badass knives like Kukri and the new machetes. I have only found one Fange knife which I am very happy about.

10 dayz later and all i get is a haha react. I will lie down on my stack of deagles and cry now! 😭

This is the thing I want most in the game, even more than helicopters xD. Oh man with really funny physics when you crash please and someone sitting on the back shooting.

It always shocks me when i hear gunshots from that island, i just can't believe people go there. Once i swam over because i hear shots, then one shot fired right next to me but i never found the guy.

The gunshot sounds and stagger-when-shot as well as the loot systems in recent patches were changed after community out- *cry* on the forums 🙂

I got the jump on this guy and sprayed him. I missed him by an inch with most bullets but one went right in his head. Then he shot me once in the leg and i was instantly ko and he finished me. He had a Gorka helmet and an m4, i had an akm. 😭

The debatable thing is that a point-blank headshot from an akm on a helmet doesnt knock you out but a bullet to the leg does so instantly

Yes full server, not laggy though. I had an AKM (7.62x39) he had an M4 5.56)

It worked fine a few patches ago, cars would never fly for me around 1.08 maybe? Just roll back the updates xD

You can kick when you are on your back without a gun. A sniper shot me, i took cover. A freshie jumps on my stomach and starts beating me, akward trying to shoot him while he is standing on my stomach ensues. It would have been nice if i could have kicked him off my stomach and then shot him, maybe by pressing F while aiming.

Yes. Server admins can decide wether they want players to be able to choose their character or be given a random one every time they respawn. Spaggies servers don't let you play as the character you want. On official servers you spawn as the one you choose in the main menu, when you die you get the option to spawn as a random character model or the one you chose.

I am very happy with the game, it's my favorite one, thanks! Would be nice if server lag and flying cars were fixed soon 🙂

I really like the new zombies, it feels a bit like the original DayZ mod. There were so many cool moments where my friends and me were overrun and just barely made it out by working together in 1.12. I haven't had this much fun in the game outside of player interactions since it was released, it is actual fun now to loot a place and sneak around the zombies, fight them one by one or get cornered by a horde and have to shoot your way out. Previously all they did is destroy my clothing and make me bandage from time to time (annoying as hell), now they are an actual threat and proper gameplay element (thrilling fun). It is also pretty immersive in my eyes how they don't straight up drop from one slice from a knife or axe, they are crazed infected people after all.

My DayZ character enjoys it

I played a bunch of exp and i have to say i really like most of the changes! I am not completely happy about zombies not killing unconscious players, since people get knocked out by players way more I think its the optimal solution though. We might not have Helicopters or flawless cars but every update brings a load of small changes, fixes and addons that greatly enhance the game in its entirety.

I have been killed by a spaghetti can to the face in 2 hits. My friend also killed someone in one hit with a sledgehammer to the face (his helmet got ruined) in one hit, the guy seemed to have at least 50% or more health. Maybe meelee headshots are a thing?

Join 3pp official (on pc) if you want to be hunted town by hackers and hobohunters 😄

Every time i play on public 3pp i get shot through walls by obvious hackers within the first half hour. Hackers that talk to me always have asian accents or straight up tell me that they are from china before headshotting me through a wall or similar things. The one time i met a hacker who did not have a thick asian accent he was from america and told me the only reason he hacks is to shoot chinese hackers haha xD Wherever they might be from, hackers have been ruining public (mostly 3pp) servers for the past year.

DON'T BLOW UP MY GATE!!!! Hmm yeah nades seem useless gainst gates to me. Often i throw 5 nades at a gate and it's just worn at best. You can get a friend/car/tent to climb over many gates/fences and then disassemble them from inside with an axe. Big caliber guns are also good for destroying gates but metal gates can easily take 1000 shots to destroy. Edit: Only Fences and Watchtowers can be dismantled from inside, gates NOT
