Hi, I don't have any information about DayZ on next gen consoles. I don't think the specs for any next gen console are available yet, so it's a bit hard to know how the game could eventually run.

Survivor, It’s finally time to brave the post-apocalyptic wilds of Livonia. Can you survive this unfamiliar land? DayZ’s second official map – and first-ever DLC! – has arrived on PC, Xbox One, and PS4, and is available now for 13.99 USD / 13.99 EUR. The 163 km2 terrain is set in the southern Topolin-Nadbór region of Livonia and comprises lush green landscapes, dense forests, overgrown fields, winding rivers, serene lakes, murky swamps, an array of dilapidated structures, and various remnants of an abandoned society. Its varied landscapes and numerous landmarks also provide an abundance of places for players to take shelter, build a base, and hide from both the infected and other survivors. Even veterans of Chernarus will have to bring their A-game if they don’t want to succumb to the harsh environment of Livonia. Although idyllic, supplies are scarce in this new land, and players will have to learn to forage, fish, and hunt to keep from starving. Luckily, Livonia is home to a plethora of wildlife for survivors to live off. But beware, a new threat roams the southern region, and it comes in the form of the Eurasian Brown Bear. Survivors best watch out! But sustenance – and death-by-mauling – won’t be the only environmental challenges to overcome. The temperate late-summer climate of Livonia, although usually quite pleasant, brings frequent heavy rainfall and severe thunderstorms. This unpredictable and relentless weather will pose a great threat to your livelihood, so make sure to keep a keen eye open for protective gear and shelter to shield yourself from the unforgiving elements. We would like to address some of your concerns about the game and talk about bug reporting in DayZ. Our team is aware that some elements of the game are not working as intended, and we appreciate the feedback you have been providing us. The console version is facing a few problems with some particular items. Night vision goggles and car's headlights are not working as they should and will be fixed once the update 1.05 releases. We are also working on the item duplication exploit a.k.a. "duping", and we will introduce some fixes to mitigate its occurrence. We can't still provide a specific date but we are working hard to have the update 1.05 released on console as soon as possible. We also know that some of you are not happy with the current state of the base building and the bleeding mechanics. - Bleeding: the team is monitoring feedback on this topic to see how the recent changes are accepted; - Base building/raiding: we will rebalance the entire process, starting from the resource gathering and building, up to the destruction process. The DayZ dev team is always working on game balance, and adjusting it in every update in order to provide you a better gaming experience. DayZ is a game with a wide variety of mechanics, and things don’t always work exactly as they should. It should be easy to find out according to the time of the post. Has anyone tried the Experimental Servers since last update? Regarding server crashes, have you noticed any problems? Did you find any "new" problems since the last update? We plan on bringing this update to Stable very soon and want to make sure there isn't any major issues with it. Your feedback is appreciated!

This is correct. I'll check to see if there's some problem with the loot on the servers, I'll ask about this ones: ATL-225 FPP DAL-100 FPP ATL-274 TPP DAL-067 TPP Let me know of other servers that you feel it has been harder than usual to find AR's. Thank you

PS4 or Xbox? Thank you. We are aware and working on it! Thank you Some items got their "health" changed, some got increased, some got decreased. So if we changed the health of the ItemX to double, from 100 to 200, even if you had 100% of durability, it will now be at 50%, but you maintain the same amount of health your item had. Let me know if I was clear 😉

Hello @Derleth, I agree it used to look better, but the way the sky is right now is better for performance. Right now, the dev team focus is to have Livonia in its best shape possible, and fix the most pressing issues in all platforms. The sky is not a priority right now, but it doesn't mean that we won't do anything about it in the future. Still, I'll be sending these pictures and feedback to the team 😉

We are pleased to announce that the Open Beta for DayZ Livonia has arrived exclusively on PC. From October 31, 19:00 CET to November 5, 17:00 CET(*), all DayZ owners will be able to take a peek at Livonia, via DayZ Experimental, on Steam (**). In addition to featuring the idyllic environment of Livonia, all upcoming platform content from the Update 1.06 will be available, featuring four new weapons, new magazines for your favorite rifles, fishing to outlive the harsh southern area of the terrain along with dozens of improvements and fixes. During the Open Beta, all Experimental servers will run the Livonia terrain, with a total capacity of 1 560 players (60 per server instance). As usual, we welcome all feedback; however, during the weekend, we will be focusing on the following areas: Terrain specific issues (e.g., misplaced buildings) General performance results on Livonia Loot distribution and access to these Issues with inventory, more particularly item swapping Survivability of the environment About DayZ Livonia: Livonia is the brand-new DLC map for DayZ, allowing players to experience the hardcore survival hit in a whole new environment.
