    PS4 or Xbox? Thank you. We are aware and working on it! Thank you Some items got their "health" changed, some got increased, some got decreased. So if we changed the health of the ItemX to double, from 100 to 200, even if you had 100% of durability, it will now be at 50%, but you maintain the same amount of health your item had. Let me know if I was clear 😉
  4. With 163KM2, Livonia is the second official map of DayZ. After 5 years in Chernarus, players will now be able to bring everything they learned in this new challenge. Based on the Arma 3 Contact Expansion's map, Dayz's Livonia brings a world scarred by the consequences of the virus. With its large green areas, heavily forested zones, lakes and rivers scattered across the land, Livonia is the perfect place to scavenge for resources, hunt for food, build your base and scout for unwanted presences. But don't let the beautiful landscapes of this new region fool you, there is a new predator roaming the forests of Livonia, bears. Bears will give you a hard time if you don't know how to deal with them. Do you have what it takes to survive this new threat? Livonia also features a lush of late summer with frequent rainfall and thunderstorms. So make sure to be properly geared and on the look out for shelter at all times. Embrace this new challenge and prepare to get lost in the vast lands of Livonia, either together with your allies or, as a lone wolf. See you in Livonia, Survivor.
  5. We are pleased to announce that the Open Beta for DayZ Livonia has arrived exclusively on PC. From October 31, 19:00 CET to November 5, 17:00 CET(*), all DayZ owners will be able to take a peek at Livonia, via DayZ Experimental, on Steam (**). In addition to featuring the idyllic environment of Livonia, all upcoming platform content from the Update 1.06 will be available, featuring four new weapons, new magazines for your favorite rifles, fishing to outlive the harsh southern area of the terrain along with dozens of improvements and fixes. During the Open Beta, all Experimental servers will run the Livonia terrain, with a total capacity of 1 560 players (60 per server instance). As usual, we welcome all feedback; however, during the weekend, we will be focusing on the following areas: Terrain specific issues (e.g., misplaced buildings) General performance results on Livonia Loot distribution and access to these Issues with inventory, more particularly item swapping Survivability of the environment About DayZ Livonia: Livonia is the brand-new DLC map for DayZ, allowing players to experience the hardcore survival hit in a whole new environment. Up to 60 players on a server will be tasked with a single goal: survive this new, unfamiliar land for as long as possible, by any means necessary. (*) Actual content, dates, and times subject to change. (**) DayZ Experimental is available to all DayZ owners, from the Steam Library. (***) This Open Beta is PC exclusive and requires a Steam account with DayZ. Note: It wont be possible to play on Experimental Community Servers, as the Livonia server files won't be provided during the Beta.     Console Update 1.05

    Hello Survivors! The Console Update 1.05 of DayZ is now live. It brings you an expansion on the disease system and introduces an advanced vaulting and climbing system. On the combat side, we've added two new pistols and one assault rifle. Furthermore, we've expanded our language support with Polish and Japanese. Get all the details and full patch notes below! New Weapons Mlock-91 The Mlock-91 is a semi-automatic pistol, fed from a detachable magazine. Affordable and compact, it is commonly used by the Chernarussian police forces. It uses 9x19mm rounds. MKII The MKII is a semi-automatic, integrally-suppressed pistol, fed from a detachable magazine. Using .22 LR rounds, it is considered both silent and lethal against short range targets without armour. KAS-74U The KAS-74U is a shortened version of the KA-74 assault rifle, usually equipped with a side-folding metal shoulder stock. New & improved weapon attachments New .22 LR Rounds New Vehicle Sarka 120 Vaulting Players can now vault over fences and walls. Players can now scale objects up to 2,30 meters height.     As of now, we don't have plans to make an Open Beta available for console.

    When Livonia became available during the Open Beta we got many request for exactly that, and it makes sense. The dev team is actually looking into it, but we can't promise if or when it's going to be added to the game.

    The reason we didn't make a more "official" announcement, in regards to the 1.06 in Chernarus, it's because the biggest highlights, like the bear, fishing, new weapons, etc, are not in those servers. We left the Open Beta servers available so we could do some more performance testing with the servers in both maps. So if any of you would like to help us, join in any of the Experimental Servers so we can have more detailed data on our monitoring reports 😉

    Thank you for the feedback. The only premium part of Livonia will be the terrain. The bear, the weapons and even the new Livonia assets, will be available to anyone even if you don't purchase the Livonia DLC. Thanks for your feedback and bug report.
