    You can have traders without having HIGH LOOT++ 1000x LOOT and such... you know that right? It's all about balancing prices and shit.... and DayZ Expansion will actually feature realistic traders so they will only sell if they have that item in stock... so that means if a player sold M4 you can buy that M4 at the trader... so yes

    How come every youtube video i watched had traders in them? like FrankieOnPC and SADA and others... every video i watch on DayZ ever had traders... in my eyes DayZ should have traders DayZ is an RPG survival game... i can see it work with NPCs and Quests and shit and idk how y'all see what traders do wrong but i see no effect by them just existing... never felt wrong about them idk about y'all

    every DayZ server that has ever existed from 2012 to 2020 had traders... so how do you explain this? Why does everyone use a trader? Trading with Real Players? oh you mean give free stuff to a random bandit when he brutally kills you and eat you? Oh yea that works really well that everyone is trading and completely removes the need for Trader NPC Yes that makes a lot of sense 😄

    it's some other team not related to ArmA nor DayZ i think... DayZ devs are still there... developing the game... they changed Project Lead and that guy is much better and we will be getting a better game this year... It's gonna be awesome... year 2020 is the year of DayZ trust me you all will see 😄
  6. refund the game and get a PC and buy it there.. it's 1000000x better... consoles will never have that one thing that makes DayZ an unique experience... Mods... and most of them fix the game... Bohemia doesn't make games they make modding platforms that look like games xD if there was no modding... Bohemia would be long dead... and ArmA too

    but when you think about it we still getting same amount of updates this year... maybe 1 update less... and apparently they gonna be pretty big... we're getting broken bones this year... and changes to base building and other stuff... don't make me mention further engine development... better lightining and shit 😄 can't wait for 1.08

    DayZ Expansion mod sometimes get help from the devs... the item throwing mechanics were first in the Expansion mod then the devs made it into vanilla... just with proper animations... i belive DayZ Expansion is being co-developed with DayZ devs they have communications going on that's for sure EDIT: Also the helicopter videos i posted is from Pre- Enfusion engine switch that happend in 0.63... at that point DayZ was pretty much modded ArmA 2 and 3 Hybrid... the engine was specifically Take on Helicopters engine... which is funny because there were no helicopters in the game even tho the engine is literally made for helicopters in the first place xD

    If you read the tweet that the guy posted above me... it is confirmed ArmA 4 is in development on full Enfusion engine... Multi core servers altho probably speculation... is based around next logical step to do... because who in great state of mind would leave the servers multi core on server sided game where a lot of core things depend on the server... it's just stupid af... and if it's true that DayZ is a hybrid of Enfusion and RV ( ArmA engine ) then around the time ArmA 4 gets released they will port DayZ to full enfusion giving it access to probably multi core servers i would imagine... because in my opinion server sided is great... you can't have those nasty ArmA desync where a car gets zoomed into you and you both die or some crap like that... and with AMD pumping more and more cores... it's a logical next step to add multi core servers... imagine running single core server on 64 core AMD Epyc CPU jesus christ... they need to figure that shit out and make servers multi core and scale too... because Ryzen Threadripper will most likely dominate the server market and you could host ArmA 4 server on it for cheap... so imagine all those AI... and all the crap... even physics being on server side while leaving you... the client very free of taxing processing of those things so you can have more FPS and can enjoy ArmA 4 in 60fps maybe even 100fps xD Bohemia has to be really stupid NOT to do multi core servers... ArmA 4 has also been in development for some time now... it's really really long time since ArmA 3 released... based on that tweet it's confirmed it's in development since 2018... but we don't know maybe it was in dev before that... It was like 4 years in between ArmA 2 and ArmA 3.... but it's like 6 and half years since release of ArmA 3... it's time for new ArmA 4... it's long time... so yeah... ArmA 4 confirmed to be somewhere between 2020 and 2022 at latest 2023... more proof of this is that they moved devs from DayZ over to work on the Enfusion engine

    sure it has content... but what will you do once DayZ Expansion mod releases that revives DayZ and restores it to it's former glory of DayZ mod... with helicopters and stuff? and a lot of features that were in like broken bones that is coming this year is implemented ... if it 0.62 was really that good then why did it have so small amount of people playing it? sure you got a lot of features... but can you do other things rather then just get gun shoot people? also what do you mean graphics are worse on new DayZ ? you do know 0.62 has Enfusion renderer in? making the graphics almost the same as up to date DayZ ? Engine is not worse... it's just a little in it's infancy... it's a much much better engine and much more capable... plus the IK animations... compared to static animations you had before... player movement isn't clunky... it's much less laggy... and they switched programming language so they have to remake everything from scratch.. ballistics will be improved since this engine will power ArmA 4... and what is a Military Simulation without ballistics? i'm pretty sure ArmA 4 will be almost a re skinned DayZ so they will have a common engine so it will be easy to port things over from ArmA to DayZ... just like before on old DayZ you could install ArmA 2 mods into DayZ... did you see DayZ helicopters on old DayZ ? there is other videos i saw but it was long time ago idk what happend to them... Yeah so anyways... we will be getting Broken Bones this year... maybe even next update who knows... the creator of Namalsk map Sumrak is now DayZ Project Lead... so he will make the game better with survival aspects so he can later this year hopefully released his remastered Namalsk into DayZ... it's gonna have a lot of cool stuff and it's really hard to survive on it... mainly the freezing temperature.. you can follow his development of Namalsk here http://www.nightstalkers.cz/category/nposts/

    most of these stuff happens on consoles and shitty servers.. how come i don't get ANY problems with cars? huh? can you please explain me that? as i said countless of times... Play on good quality server that is hosted on nice hardware and nice internet... also make sure you have a nice internet too and ping... Cars are freaking server sided so when you get frame drop the car continues to drive instead of freeze in space and time like in ArmA... just play on a good server... those kids that post this crap don't specify the servers... if they did you would see it's either official servers or some shitty community servers that people host on Pentium 4 or somethin with ugandan internet... it's simple... those cars are not bugged it's just desync because servers are heavily single threaded ( core ) just wait till they make the servers multi core... you'll see this no more... plus this is still better then before where cars and trucks would sink into the ground... i love cars in DayZ... they work hella good it's almost as Dirt Rally ... a car simulator... why? because i play on good quality servers with smart ass admins and not some regular people who don't know shit about computers... FIND A GOOD SERVER... and don't play on consoles... they got the 2014 hardware... and DayZ is actually next gen game just on old gen consoles... they should have honestly released on PS5 and xbox series x and honestly i think PS5 would run DayZ much better then xbox because of that fast SSD also Bohemia... plz add graphics settings to consoles... the settings on there are probably high and that's why it runs like poop... shiii... when i put Object Quality to Medium on my much more highly powered i3-8100 it causes some fps issues... because it's CPU intensive setting... imagine doing that on 2014's AMD Faildozer derivative 8 core Jaguar CPU at like 1.6ghz xD and don't let me mention that DayZ uses like 10-12gbs of RAM ... and consoles have 8... so where does the rest of the RAM go? yes.. to a slow ass HDD/ Hard Drive... it's called Pagefile ( aka Virtual memory ) and people say to me... it's not console hardware problem it's game optimization.. which kinda is true but it's actually very tiny amount that it is game optimization... it's just old ass hardware and once again... if you want to play DayZ... and drive cars... play on a good quality server... that's it... end of discussion

    i play on Lone Survivor server... modded af... 100-120 players... plus a lot in the queue ... cars work fine... we crashed a few times like an actual human error crash... nothing happend they worked fine... so what is your excuse now?

    comparing client side to Server side is not good... cars don't work because you like to play on shitty official or heavily modded servers that has mods that don't work well with other mods... i had no issues with the cars because i play on a good server that is hosted on a nice machine and good internet... simple fix for now... play on a good quality server... complicated fix for later... Bohemia needs to optimize servers because they run on single core... and since they moved the devs to work on Enfusion engine i bet they are doing that right now... because apparently ArmA 4 is gonna be releasing some time this year.. so they are focusing on that really hard and getting the engine ArmA ready.. i guess ArmA 4 will be server sided same as DayZ... the really bottleneck of DayZ is the servers and is the cause of most issues DayZ has... so ez fix is to make servers run on multiple cores and since most of servers are using 8 core xeons and i7s ... some may be using Ryzen... just imagine all the possibilities with more cores... imagine ArmA 4 server hosted on Ryzen Threadripper with 64 cores 128 threads... boi.. it's exciting af

    not possible... due to engine difference... they had to remake the map basically.. so if you mean port DayZ map into ArmA 3...that's a no go... even if you DO that... ArmA 3 will crash because DayZ's engine can handle all the objects and ArmA 3 could crash with all that stuff placed around the map...

DayZ can't launch because it's "still alive" even tho i literally pulled the plug on my PC it's still open... i tried reinstalling it and when steam downloaded it... i got content locked specifically ai.pbo file... i can't delete it because it's open in DayZ somehow... like wtf xDDD EDIT: I fixed it by doing Windows key+R and typed netsh winsock reset and then RESTARTed the pc... and now it works

    Trouble with mods

    i think what's happening here is that you don't understand how it works... like when you join a server with DZSA launcher... it's gonna start downloading mods via Steam... so it's gonna be in downloads and it's gonna be DayZ Workshop... so progress bar goes up for 1 mod and once it's done that means it's downloaded... and when it resets back to zero that means another mod is downloading... you don't see what mods are being downloaded in steam.. so just be patient until all mods are downloaded and then try to join the server ? 😄

    yeah... about aerial vehicles being animated and coded... you can throw that code straight outta window because it's useless in the new engine because of the different programming language... if they put that code into the game it would either not work or crash the game... they literally started from scratch with the engine... basically reseting development time to around 3 years not 7... reason why it worked and they showed off a demo of it was because it was on the engine of another game called Take on Helicopters... basically ArmA 2 engine.. mods from ArmA worked in DayZ before but since like 0.60 they don't... so yeah... about that code for helicopters... it's unusable now... remember how V3S was in the game? go try Community Offline Mode.. and spawn V3S and try to use it.. it's bugged to shit because of new engine they did so code has to be rewritten from scratch... same with the bus.. Also Sumrak is now Project Lead we will get better game till end of this year... but we also got Corona kicking in so stuff will probably be delayed xD and you can't blame Corona on Bohemia so yeah
