the vision/sound meter and zombie aggro-ing problems already have tickets submitted.
also when I'm unable to enter any towns at all without crawling prone through the whole place, I'd count the game as unplayable

yeah, I can't play with this new zombie aggro'ing. Starting without a gun was perfectly fine with the old sound/vision meters that let you crouch-walk away and lose them, but now if you start out and aggro a zombie, you will never lose it.

as of patch 1.7.1.4 the sneaking sound and vision levels are all messed up. wait for (yet another) patch, *sigh*. Maybe in 5 days we will be able to play this game again.

this is so dumb. yeah, perfectly good reason to make a game completely unplayable, nobody are elite military snipers, durr
I'm rolling back to 1.7.1.1 for now until sneaking is fixed.

No gun makes finding first items really cool.
No gun at the same time as super-hearing and super-sight zombies that you can no longer lose by hiding, = not fun.
