Hi i played with all the weapons in dayz and what i noticed was alot of American made weapons or British etc. Sins its a post soviet country i dont get it why there arent alot of soviet weapons ? This is what i would change in the weapons that are already in dayz: Ksvk add this one and replace it for AS50 or the M107. Rpg7-v or the Rpg 18 in place of the M136 AT4. Pkm or Pkp in replace of the M240. And weapons you can add just by itself: Ak107 GL/PSO/GL PSO Ak 74 GP-25/Kobra Aks Aks 74 Aks 74 PSO Aks 74UN Kobra only to spawn at barracks because of its SD. Rpk SA61 Scorpion Saiga 12K SVD without camo Makarov SD Vss vintorez same for this one only spawning in barracks because its SD These weapons are all in arma itself already so no download things or anything. All these weapons are soviet builds with makes them more a potential gun to be found in a post soviet country. Also the fact that in arma2 itself 4 of the 5 faction use russian / soviet weapons. Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Chernarussian Defence Forces (CDF) Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ) National Party (NAPA) So nothing less nothing more my point simply being more soviet weapons i dont say we need to replace them its a opion i would like to see them replaced to keep the balance with the guns in. Heey a new topic about a vehicle to add into Dayz. I was looking at all the vehicles in arma 2 and oah and came across a nice small armour vehicle with was used for scouting and small transporting. Im talking about the BTR-40 Light vehicle with a bit of armour protection. It saves you frome small arms fire eswell as ak rounds and m16 etc. The 50 can blow a hole in it aswell as the M136 at4 ingame. I can hear you guys already but wait isnt that overkill. No its has a open top where you can be killed frome with every weapon. It can be destroyed by a lucky and simple grenade eswell as it has normal tires that can be shot of like all other cars. Why i like this vehicle is the fact its can protect u against fire but its not overpowerd. (aslong as you puth in the version without the DshKM aa gun.) armor: 40 (less then a hummer.) Max.
