Us-SL 4380 high population (not full). Can’t connect. Keep getting unknown connection error. Don’t want to server hop u know. Anyone else??
-
- If you tap A you jump faster than if you hold A. - you can hold Y with a mag in your hand to reload it if you have ammo. - can loot military bases without wondering who’s gonna server hop and shoot you in the back. - you no longer get a weapon to kill yourself if you don’t like the spawn or character. - you can throw a piece of paper out of sight but can’t throw a backpack 10 feet. - if you throw something close to a zombie, it will agro on you instead of the object.

So. I’m working on the car.. 2 wheel drive sedan... get the battery, radiator and plug in. Put a wheel on. (Only one. Left front to be exact) and decide to climb in and see if this one has sound when it starts. Push X button at driver door. Crashing sounds play and poof, I’m a fresh spawn on the coast after a respawn countdown. Anyone else had this to happen??

If it’s psn. No. If it’s the shared database. Both would be down. If a change to the database is uploaded. Both would be down until the code is updated to reflect the change

A database is simply a table with rows and columns used to store data that can handle requests for a certain row or column. There is two main database types which is MySQL and MS SQL. I’m not sure 100% exactly how dayz does it as I haven’t dove into the code, but would guess each player has a unique id in the table that stores inventory, health, and other variables. When consoles share a database. When the structure of the database or connection parameters change, both sets of code must reflect the changes or one is broken
