Damn that's all I need, that third-person cheat-mode is awful. I remember being in a tenement on the top floor porch, looking at the town, I got bored and wanted to check out my character model with all his gear on. When I rotated the camera to the short side of the building, I could easily see the houses and street behind me! It was stupid. You can even look over fences that you wouldn't normally be able to see over in 1st person mode. Sh1t is whack!! Can the developers try to minimize this by changing the camera level maybe? I'm no expert programmer. But as a player, it's absolutely ridiculous how much of an advantage is gained in 3rd vs 1st person mode. I like 1st person mode because of how immersive this game is. When you run past a house and have checked all the windows prior to confidently strolling by, then get shot at, it's very disheartening. It's too easy to abuse.

Yeah, the PS4 will have update 1.04 this week (but not Monday)!! Very exciting to have a fresh slate and start grinding for that gear again.

On Friday, the team announced via Twitter that 1.04 Patch has passed review! PS4 should have it this week, but not today (Monday 8/5).

Actually, I had the same issue. When I see the inventory wheel on screen, it's like a clock, if you can imagine that, so if you put the joystick in the middle, the selection mechanic ends up working upside down when inverted settings are selected. I got used to this after 20+ hours...or something like that. If they fix this, then I'll really be in trouble!! I know I'll screw it up for a long time before I can break the habit.

Melee: Combat Knife / Gun at range: M70 Tundra with Hunting Scope / Killing Zeds in the City: Silenced FX-45 or the 9mili civilian version...the...uh...CR-75 is it?

Bicycle with attachable light and pouches for storage. Dirt bike, please. Makeshift heli? Whaaat!!??!

This is a brilliant thought. Just have the item decay over time from hot ash, to warm ash, to ash. Each designated state would have a specific time equivalent. 10, 20, 30, then it disappears?

If it's day, and I'm on the move, scanning the horizon, trying to locate that zombie sound I just heard, or just rollin in the city, I literally don't need the bottom 90% of my TV. I think it's improving my posture.

The sensitivity and acceleration needs work, I agree. And I can see what you mean OP, if you are used to CoD, that's a tough switch up. It's difficult to aim precisely, and overly easy to over aim in the current iteration. When I turn my sensitivity down far enough to use iron sights and scopes effectively, my character won't turn his head fast enough when on the run or while exploring. Would be nice to have a higher degree of responsivenessin the joystick.

The 1.04 update has been submitted for approval to Microsoft and Sony. It takes these entities around 14 days or something like that (don't quote me) to review and approve the proposed content addition. Ideally, the update is submitted and approved in just over 14 days' time, which would officially allow Bohemia to give us, the players, access to the content. However, if Sony or Microsoft find something they do not condone, approve of, or something that doesn't work with the platform, the entire process has to start over after amendments are completed! We are expecting smooth approval of 1.04; so hopefully, we will have access to it this week (July 28 - August 3). I have not heard of either company rejecting any part of the 1.04 update so far, but these communications are not guaranteed or otherwise known.
