What console you lot using? I have the PS4 slim and haven’t noticed several of those bugs stated since at least 2 updates ago, still issues of course but no where near as bad as you’re claiming them to be. This was also a hotfix so expecting actual changes with performance isn’t realistic as that’s not what this hotfix was for anyhow. I agree about the PS5 and not money grabbing though, reward the community instead of pulling it apart. I might be the only one not to experience those issues so not saying they don’t happen but I play 10+ hours a day and haven’t come across them, servers with high ping and that also effects gameplay so make sure you’re on a server local for you as it does help with the experience(Still lag and that but what do you expect, was never intended to be on consoles in the first place so it’s an achievement just to have the luxury to play but issues do need resolving in the future)

This is a hotfix for the previous update regarding certain issues, optimisation doesn’t really happen in hotfixs than I’m aware of. Fixing the issues brought up from the last update is more important than “lag” imo. Lag can be fixed in the future by either the Devs or just going next gen if they go that route so I’m not too worried. (@ImpulZ, if you happen to go “next gen” please do what FIFA has done and don’t make us pay again(I can do and probably will do) but bringing the player base with will help greatly instead of pushing them out by another pay wall that they’ve paid for several times already lost likely)

Have you tried it since 0.62? Yeah some features are missing but imo it’s a better game tenfold. (don’t take that wrongly, there’s features im waiting on but glad it’s got to this point before they start adding it/if they do)

That fact it’s even playable on console is something 20 year old James never thought would happen so I’m just happy I can play even if there are certain issues, they aren’t gamebreaking(ish)

Ah okay man, I’ve heard official is being a bit iffy with the spawns so you may be right.

Mine was sarcasm, not sure if it was aimed at more or the OP that I replied too but I agree with what you’re saying. I can deal with the issues, doesn’t make any difference to me as I just binge this like 15 hours a day straight.(Can’t day I’ve come across a cheater unless when you randomly die as a fresh spawn? But that wasn’t of any bother)

Well don’t use a 300ping server, expected when you’re on servers that’s going to be laggy for you. Try a lower ping if you can, should help unless that’s not possible given the location.

You playing official or private? Private servers are running with decent loot but haven’t tried official myself as of yet.

Facts don’t mean anything, basically just lies that are truths.

Hardcore servers would be amazing, gives those wanting more PvP style their own servers and those a more survival authentic experience theirs without having to use modded servers.

Running a lot smoother, worthwhile progress at hand imo.

Hopefully all this “restructuring” and the influx of interest in consoles may put their priorities in the right places.

Well it is due to modifying the files, just not the same as actually modding a game.

Just seems odd to me but I agree they should have some form of page on the main screen of the game linking important articles relating to the version to help those who genuinely don’t know.

I paid knowing what I was paying for, I don’t see what your issue is as problems are stated everywhere so you could of done you research before hand. I went into DayZ expecting what a PC player of DayZ would expect, not up to par with the PC for sure but for console it’s better than you’re going to get elsewhere. You should really read up about things before you buy, would save you this hassle.

Well I bought the map knowing that and for that reason, I’ll assume a lot more of the “player base” has as well, they did tell you before hand what Livonia would entail. (I’m not the type of guy to buy a snickers then complain it has nuts in so I could be biased)
