Try going to a US server with Ping around 150..if you dont get kicked then there might be a chance that the dumb hopper wouldn't have been there. -

Yes, that's why is called Alpha test...but surely it got less bugs than Fallout 3 (and other titles) when it was released as final product.

I'm not sure if it's me but my trips to the airbase have been very dissapointing...I hardly find anything good, even if I change servers. At the best, I'll find an AK74 and that's it (I know that's good but I'd expect a bit more). Anyone else with the same problems?

That's actually very interesting...after the guy that got struck by lightning now we have fire in the woods....how long until we see tornados, Godzilla, etc. -
- Surviving your first half an hour - Reaching the NW airfield (and leaving it alive) - Finding the Helicopter crash site - Find the rare NVG - Fixing a Vehicle or Helicopter - Being able to survive on dead animal and water from lakes for days - None of the above (Play, shut the f.. up)

These are probably new players who just managed to get some gear to start their adventure...nothing wrong with that, they are just venting...give them a few more weeks and they will be telling "newbie’s" off too for complaining about the same thing! lol -

Surviving Zeds is easy but not knowing how another survivor will behave when they meet you is what adds tension to this game. -
