The game is about survival not spawning in NW airfield and getting the best gear. Very dumb comment indeed.

That's right, Play is winning. Today I completed 12 days alive, over 400 zombies killed and 0 murder......until now. I was close to the Devil's Castle when suddently I hear this strange song in the background (no, it wasn't that 7 years old girl singing) and someone screaming like there is no tomorrow. I looked back and I saw this guy Ghillie Suit. By that time my heart was already beating around 180bpm and all I had time to do was to unload my AKM and log off (I don't mind been killed by another player but not a hacker). Well, then I logged into another server and noticed that I had 1 murder count, so I decided to log back into the old server. For my suprise, MF was dead and with him all sort of equipments except that he had no weapows! :o . Anyway, for the first time in nearly 3 months playing I finally got a GPS, Rangefinder and a Ghillie Suit. :thumbsup: So the message of the day is - Hackers, today I had the last laugh!!! Further answer to the posts saying : "It wasn't a hacker": 1- Normal player with all those equipments and no weapon 2- A guy that was on the ground with at least 3 different animals next to him 3 - Where did the music come from? 4 - His face looked like a clown

....

I understand your frustration but you paid for Arma 2 CO not DayZ. Hope you have a legit case to get your ban lifted.

My character is now 10 days old (I play everyday) and I have not come across any hacking activity during that time. In the past I only experienced hacking once in Elektro (it was on fire) when I joined a dodgy server (don’t remember the name). So, my question is: Is hacking prevention down to the Server Admin? I.e.: Can a good security setting prevent that from happening? <<question already answered by semipr0>> I usually play between 18:30 - 20:00 and from 22:00 - 23:00 GMT time. Anyway, I just want to share this with you. Maybe I'm just god damn lucky but hey, got nearly 170hrs of DayZ.

If they wanted to hack they would have done it already dude....maybe they cannot win all the time, maybe other server admins will be looking at similar ways to prevent this from happening...so yes, let's get their attention and let them know that they are not masters of the universe!

Same for me, only this one time when the elektro was on fire but i was fine....

Epic fall....

Last night I was shot dead (possibly by a sniper) and lost my NVG, AKM, meat, ammo, GPS and guess what? I'm don't care. That's right, I'm not going to blame Rocket, hackers or zombies throwing hadou shoryuken (like someone mentioned in this forum). The game is great, got less bugs than many AAA titles and I've been enjoying every minute of it. I would pay the full price right now if Rocket would charge but I understand that he's not doing this for the money. So trolls, please don't post in here! Understand that the game is in alpha and as such new functionalities will be added and bugs will occur…btw, if you suddenly die, don’t blame the mother spaceship introduced by hackers, it’s most likely that the anti troll patrol found and got rid of you. Thanks Rocket and the rest of the team for giving me over 200hrs of the best gaming experience since I played pong in the early 80’s. Play Ps.: I’m Play, not PlayZ (the troll that is infesting the forum will non sense posts).

You must be doing something wrong...with the latest beta patch you shouldnt be having this problem. Mine is running even better than before.

I vote to send you back to the hole where you came from.....
