I believe it's something like the following 40 days for tents 8 days for barrels 4 hours for bags 30 minutes for small items

Good tip. I done this today. There was one quite annoying problem doing it this way. Every time I moved an item from my jacket/ pants inventory (in hands) to my new inventory, it changes from hands to bag so i would have to L1 to go back to hands for each item.

I like to use VOIP so I can talk to other players in game. Probably one of the best and most important things about the game. And i'm impressed with the mic quality and the fact that it's directional and is louder/ quieter depending on player distance. However, there is a really annoying pop and squeak sound that happens after a player has finished talking.

How do they work? Is there a way to set a specific lock combination? What types of doors/ fences do they work on? Are they permanent in the persistence on servers? Can they get destroyed by any tools or bullets?

What would stop someone from just changing server, moving to the location (inside of the base) and then changing back to the original server?

How long do items last in the persistence on servers? The only info i could find was this: Tents 40 Days Barells 8 Days Backpack (non self crafted) 4 Hours Protector cases not sure if 4 hours or up to a few days. everything else goes away in 5 to 30 minutes Have the durations changed for PS4?

I've jumped of high places several times and it just does HP damage. You'd think there would be a body indicator with red arm/ leg etc. Server listing showing day/ night would just make server hopping easier. I like to encourage players to survive the night. Although i think daytime should last a little longer than it currently does. I remember their being motorcycles and pushbikes in the PC version when i last played it many years ago. I like the really dark night. It's realistic and it's awesome when you see other players in the distance with flares/ torches.

Also frequently getting sound dropping out and blue screen crashes

I spawned in, found a tent, couldn't equip it to hand, couldn't add to inventory then i couldn't even pick up the flare that I dropped on the road. I then equipped a soda, couldn't drink it tried to log out and it counted down to then say "second until exit" with no duration and nothing. I had to close application.

So there are no UK servers? - this might explain why players are teleporting around -
Try to Survive the night instead of server hopping. Use your flare, move cautiously and hold up in buildings if you manage to stock up on food and water. Once dawn breaks you'll have the whole day to loot.

There isn't ping on PS4. At least I don't see a ping number in the server section. Also does anyone know what the letter such as "BE" and "NL" mean in the server menu? I'm from the UK and was wondering what server is best. It's really hard to PVP when players are teleporting around the screen. -
The menu is clunky, we need more options on the hotbar wheel and reloading weapons is awkward. Will the team look at changing the controls?

It's 30 fps but it goes down to like 10 frames if you run around and change direction too quickly 😂

Agreed. I can think of several changes that would help inventory management.
