Found a rangefinder in pristine condition. Added a 9v battery and its says hold R2 to look through and nothing happens. Is everything in this game broken?

I have made two fires at my base. One with a tripod and cooking pot? 1. How long does tripod fire last until despawn? 2. Do the stones around the fire add to the despawn time or have any other effect? 2nd Fire is an open made of rocks 3. How long does the stone oven last until despawn?

Why are there no deadzone settings? It's extremely difficult to be precise when aiming a weapon.

I have my region set to Europe and yet Australian, Russian and US servers are listed. Would be as much of a problem if clicking favorite on a server was permanent.

I read that you get wooden planks by using an axe on lumber piles. I can't get it to work, has it been disabled for PS4 or something?

How long do fence kits last in the ground before they de-spawn? How long does the framework last before de-spawn? Are complete bases permanent?

Hello, how do i go about getting a refund on PS4? I love the concept of DayZ. I love permadeath and complexity of the game. But the frame rate is terrible, the UI is a mess and in every EU server players are teleporting around making PVP nearly impossible.

First of all, don't be a di##head with that type of reply. I'm trying to be constructive here. I understand the cause and effect of game design. It's obvious that (most players) if given the choice to run up a hill and save time will do so, instead of taking the long way around.

Running up hills should use up more stamina or the character should simply be forced to walk. I'm sure i remember it being like this on PC when I played many years ago. It makes it more realistic and encourages people to use paths and roads instead of just taking shortcuts.

Can we have the following: Character customization More advanced injury system - I might be thinking of another game but I think i remember having to make splints for your leg if you broken it from falling or being hit with blunt objects like hammers. Please change quickslot equip when in inventory to R3 (currently L3) Don't push x when using quick select- just hold R1 + analog direction and release to swap Add more quickslots or sub-quickslots for weapons/ food/ items etc Server history - I was in a persistence on server and quit but forgot the name. Should have favorite i know but a history of the last 3 would be good.

It wouldn't make it a simulator it would just encourage people to actually use roads and paths instead of unrealistically sprinting up a steep hill. Reducing movement speed up hills and adding restrictions for REALLY steep hills would (if anything) make players appreciate the map design more.

Unequipped some old pants to put some new ones on that were in better condition. Couldn't then add my items back into my inventory. Tried by using sure on each item and by using the proximity menu and nothing. All my time wasted. Thanks.
