To be honest I dont care what FPS it is, I come from the days of Voodoo 3DFX cards when games were really slideshows, All I know is that is playable and not once have I thought I "I wish I had more frames per second here". But if FPS is your concern and every game must be 4K 60FPS as standard then thats your thing man. PS4 Pro, 1080P TV runs fine to me Peace.

These storys are awesome, I find with each experience your skin becomes thicker and you become more experinced since my last life I havnt died and have been surviving out of a town. Im at the point where im starting to place hidden loot eithier buried or barrel. I Find if I stay in a place that I know and can navigate only going on expidetions to gather resources required, the game takes a new chapter. The south I now call the proving grounds and you truly start to survive once you are out of there. As time goes on the more loot I have and the more I progress, the stakes are higher and the feeling of "Oh my God" when you hear a blast of a weapon coming from the neighbouring village gets me on edge. Its a great feeling but also makes me nervous lol. Im now living out of a unamned village 😉 when I seen 3 guys burying there loot within one of the back gardens, I will be going back to see what goodies I can find 🙂

Im doing good thanks, seems a extended list and I share some the concerens. I have just started playing on PS4 and currently keeping an open mind and giving a clean slate. I havnt expeirienced soem of the issues yet but I know some exsit like Duping, Ghosting etc currently im really enjoying and perhaps foolishly im hoping the Dev team can address the issues in coming updates ( we will see) Keep surving perhaps I may see you in Chernarus Regards Edit I miss quoted 😕 Sorry

Hi All I thought I would start a thread on sharing your Dayz Expierences so far. I would like start by stating I havnt played DayZ since the Arma 2 Mod on PC some time ago.I have purposly approached Dayz with an open mind and clean slate and overall im really enjoying the game I havnt exprienced any of this "Bugs" I keep hearing about as yet and since release I have prob spent 10+ hours on it over multiple surving attempts. Playing On; PS Pro, 1080P TV ( I know), FTTP 250Mb WAN Connecton My Story.. So I started close to berezino and quickly started to gather some supplies, School bag, Bike helmet, BK 133 (no ammo), Shovel, Axe, Platsic water Bottle, Bino's and food. Mean while a friend had joined and started doing the same. We decided to loot up and meet at NE Airfield to head towards NW Airfied / Stary to gain more advanced rifles etc. As I approached NE Airfield I heard two shots in the distance. My initial reaction was to stay away however, with food supplies low and no other options I decided to head into Krasnostav in desperation.. My aim was to get to one of the supermarkets to resuppy, get out and RV with my friend who was also heading my way. As I approached the supermarket I noticed a Survivor looting the very loot I needed, I had a choice, allow the survivor to go with my needed food supplies or kill for survival.. I quickly fired up iZurvive and noticed there was two Supermarkets in Kras and decided to head to the second and leave the survivour be, as I approached the supermarket I seen one, ..Two, Three survivors looking directly at me with weapons.. I stood there like a rabbit in head lights clutching my Axe trying to asses my options, I called out .... No reply I walked into the nearest house as they approahed all four of us stood there as I called out for a reply.. nothing came back One shot was fired ... I closed the door and Ran.... It was too late I was trapped in the house, with all exits and entrys blocked.. They came in to the house as I stood there calling out with My back against the wall, they took aim like a firing squad. they all shot in line and in unison as my survivor collapsed to the floor... I was dead Survivor 4 lasted 3 hours and I start my story again..... Every cloud.. I spawned close to my friend and we RV'd ready for tonight to survive again.. Really enojying it so far chaps hope you are too. Regrads.

Played it again all last night no issues with performance, it plays well :)really enjoying it so far

Hello No idea the exact number but I play on a pro and seems pretty good and my Pro is on a 1080p TV currently ( The wife kicked me off the 4K one). Certainly playable and didnt notice any problems, not say there wont be though I played for around 3 hours last night if it helps. Regards

@Jackel Hello I hope your well I can sense your frustration against the game and how it progessed over the years. My exprience comes from the Mod for Arma2 on PC many years ago now. I havnt played it since then really and the first time for a while I played last night so I guess im comparing from all that time ago untill today. I can see elements have changed but it doesnt seem vast changes since the Mod. It would seem more time has been put into developing a new engine rather than a new game perhaps that wasnt a good idea and they should of made a choice to use a already developed engine and focused on the game instead perhaps? Could you share the bugs you refer too as I have stated I havnt played for a long time and I am yet to exprience some on the PS4 Thanks

I started on the Pro yesterday, although I can see rendering objects in the distance It hasnt affected my gameplay at all. Im not sure but it may also depend on the WAN connection speed which may explain the contrasting experience I have had from the comment above. We may find that Xbox servers are more resillaint to lower connection speed issues and that PS servers are still in their infancy. My exprience so far has been pretty much fluid unitll you get to a city where you will suffer a few drops and then once loaded all is fine ( this takes seconds for me ) if anyone has played Ark its like going form a cave to the open world. I can understand both comments above, my view is this. In Dayz if you die you die this is the game, no fluff nor rainbows. The issue that is infornt of us is persistance, ghosting to every good loot spawn and clearing it out. The idea of placing a bed would resolve this, when you log out and log back in you can only spawn at eithier a "Default" spawn location OR a Bed you have placed ( beds dont move from server to server). If your character dies you can not spawn at a bed another charactor has placed (Your Dead one). meaning you need to create another one for your new charactor. This is my view, I believe its solves persistance problems whilst keeping the integrity of the game intact. Regards.
