Has nothing to do with that mate, they should have pushed Halloween content back or released 1.23 beforehand. The content from the event has no wherewithal because it’s being erased right after it’s released. -

All of the seasonal masks, hoods, hats etc… will be wiped immediately. So, we won’t be able to retain any of the limited-time holiday goodies. -
I’d love to participate—but it’s impossible to connect to 1.23 experimental servers on Xbox.

Why are NVGs useless? We use them when available at night (by we, my friends and I). We can logout in our bases then log back into our bases. Why can’t you use your NVGs? -

Jokes on you, for I didn’t purpose an idea. I’m fine with logging on/off the way it is. A log out zone, is a safe zone, that lets a survivor exit the server safely. So, you are preposing safe zones to logout of the server. If I were to propose a NEW idea — it would be: to prevent critically injured survivors from logging-off at all and just like logging whilst being bound, if a survivor logs for any reason and they’re bleeding, they automatically die and have a fresh spawn next time they play. Server would detect this and leave corpse and gear in-place same as any dead survivor. -
It’s intended, there’s different weather conditions and sometimes there’s a fog/mist or ‘haze’ as you referred to it. I actually prefer it when that weather’s happening, it adds more atmosphere to the world.

I stealth kill 9 out of 10 infected with no problems. You can’t make any noise, crouch-walk up to them from behind and attack at the proper distance, it takes muscle memory. I actually sprint crouch mostly and very rarely alert them before executing.

Safe zones aren’t practical. If I have to go tend to something irl, like walk a dog or help family — I don’t want to spend over an hour to get to a ‘safe zone’. Additionally, griefers will just camp the parameters to snipe anyone trying to go to the ‘safe zone’. My only suggestion to deter combat logging, is the timer be extended to 30s tops. Anything beyond that is ridiculous. -

Like much of the community, I was hyped for improved infected Ai and more robust interactions with them at the beginning of 2023 when Bohemia said they had plans for improving infected this year. Sadly, the devs stated the scope was too great for an infected overhaul to occur in fy23. Below is my wishlist for infected changes 2024. My Infected Wishlist More organic movement animations Greater jump-scare unpredictability of where infected will be Improved attack animations Have infected’s head track vertical movements of survivors so they actually look at players Remove clipping of their bodies when swarming next to structures Ability to bash open closed doors Ability to climb on top of cars Roof screamers should eventually jump down and attack Screamers in real-time should be able to climb objects to alert greater hordes of infected Add rag-doll physics and dismemberment features Add only headshot or beheading kills infected Refreshed infected appearances and greater variation of 3d models In general, just make infected scary and affective Give option for players killed by infected to re-spawn once every 24hrs as infected and try to kill survivors (A myriad of achievements could be tied to this, maybe also unlock cosmetics for survivors to keep and equip as fresh spawns) What would you like to see changed about infected?

Lore about the Yellow King’s and Hannah's tales would be epic. Some classics novels most-likely don’t need IP clearance because there’s no ownership anymore, books like that should return. Journals with crafting recipes and illustrations would be helpful for new players, reference Red Dead Online’s crafting pamphlets. -
Question. How did they know you raided their base? There’s no gamer tags displayed in-game. Where you on a small community server? I personally would like a Nitrado option to mask gamer tags on community servers and only display the number of players on server to prevent things like this.

At beginning of fiscal year 23, Bohemia planned to finally re-work infected by stating the following. “We also plan on focusing more on infected AI this year. Console has nothing to do with it, there’s two official DayZ maps: Chernarus & Livonia. It doesn’t matter if you’re playing on console or PC. Anything else is a 3rd party mod on PC, not created nor supported by Bohemia.

Any advice on how to connect to current experimental build on Xbox? I’ve cleared my cache, updated to current version but can’t connect to any experimental servers!?
