Make it possible to remove items from containers (i.e. clothes, med kits, backpacks, etc…)

Yeah, I hear ya… on the realism aspect, and whilst this game has many realistic things about it, it’s still just a game with many unrealistic things as well. For instance: eating/drinking with a mask on, crafting a gun suppressor from a plastic bottle and duct tape or stashing an M4 in your pant’s pocket; all of these things aren’t realistic. I commented on a feedback post about this too. We used to be able to quickly organize inventory — but now it’s painful. Plate carrier pouches are rendered useless, stowing anything inside a container within your inventory won’t allow quick actions anymore such as swapping magazines by holding Y-Button. If we want to get more realistic, then slings for long arms should be added for again, we shouldn’t be able to stow massive items in our pants, shirts, jackets etc… -
I’m on Series X and my whole crew are having these issues. Everyone is using a factory Xbox Controller, no elites nor aftermarket ones; additionally, majority are on Series X|S but a couple are still on Xbox Ones.

Some bugs my crew and I noticed this update: Inventory Management is all messed up now, can’t hold X to drop items, can’t easily re-organize items by pressing A to shift things around Ammo pouches for plate carriers are completely broken, no inventory can be accessed prevent magazine swaps with guns and even whilst in inventory menu, when we try to organize rather than selecting pouches it pulls my pistol holster off the plate carrier Anything inside anything becomes unusable, for instance placing magazines in a teddy bear, if survivor tries to reload a gun with a full magazine from inside the bear it won’t function correctly Fire Barrel Light Bug still exists two years later, when camera is spun away from FB, survivors see light being emitted onto environment, but when we look directly at FB it goes away Why are there no fruit 🍎 spawns in Livonia? T’is a silly thing — add apples, plums and pears 🍐 into Livonia No Execution for Spears… really!? Please add stealth-kills for Spears and Pitchfork Thanks for an awesome update, looking forward to others as the year progresses. -Cheers

I love the Surviving Chernarus - DayZ Live Action Trailer from PS4 launch This trailer gets me hyped to play every-time I watch it. There’s some footage of cool ideas that could be added to the game. 1) Be able to shoot weapons from inside vehicles, right now survivors in cars are just mobile targets with zero defense 2) Have more God Rays, Denser Fog and atmospheric effects as seen in the trailer 3) Introduce cool ballistic face masks like this chap is wearing 4) Add option to stab survivors with weapons, like a critical-hit, and release grip so the blade stays inside victim causing more damage over time and bleeding. When survivors rip the blade out they take shock damage that may cause them to pass-out. 5) Load-up troops on the trucks as an option, right now only 2 can sit inside main cabin -Cheers

I’m fine with combo locks, but think the 3-digit variation should be pulled. They’re too easy to guess the combo, heck… I’ve even started opening 4-digit locks too! People are too predictable in what numbers they use. The concept of keys 🔑 however; intrigue me. Keys and lock-picks should have more functionality: Handcuff Keys should have name changed to simply Keys Keys should lock/unlock car doors, trunks, hoods, used to start engine and unlock/lock regular doors Not all keys will work on every lock, add like an RNG that gives a key like a 1 in 4 chance it can open something — but once an object is locked/unlocked, that key always works with said item Padlocks 🔐 and keys should be added to lock: improvised crates, tents 🏕 base gates, sea chests, protective cases and ammo boxes Lock-picks should be usable on all of the locks mentioned above, from starting a car to locking a sea chest Car wreck trunks 🚗 should be lockable and have as much storage as their drivable counterparts I’m sure there’s other uses I haven’t captured here, but will expand upon this list if I think of anything.

Do you think we’ll see the ability to dual wield some weapons, such as pistols, sawed-off double barrel shotgun or scorpions for instance? This feature got my attention, for I was watching BI Update Teaser videos on their YouTube and noticed for 1.11 Stability Update they feature two hand-guns being held at once as seen here:

All evening I’m spawning in with half a dozen other people. I normally am not KOS, but after getting killed multiple times — now I am KOS. I literally just had 3 dudes attack my fresh-spawn, they were also fresh, and not like 3 dudes several minutes apart — I mean all at once. And within moments two more armed with guns showed up and shot me. Why did I encounter 5 survivors in less than a couple min after fresh spawn!?

Our group doesn’t have any M4s — haven’t been in a permanent toxic zone yet.

I’m a base-builder player, and always look forward to improving base functionality and defense. Would love to see ability to add locks to sea-chests and crates that can be opened with keys or lock picks. Similarly, requiring a key 🔑 or lock pick to start cars and be able to locks car doors, hoods and trunks needs to be a thing too. Back in 2019, I remember being able to lock and unlock car wreck trunks and doors, would love to see that be a way players could stash items, like drop a crate or barrel in a wrecked Olga trunk then lock the trunk shut. -

I don’t have a problem with base raiders climbing on-top of each other to hop an obstacle—it’s something you’d do in real life in the same situation. What I have a problem with is: that X-Ray vision exploit, the ESP cheat and using glitches to clip right through base walls. My base has been raided several times. I learn and reinforce base to account for as much as I can to deter entry. There’s an animation that can be performed at one wall that lets players clip right through the base fence like it’s not even there, that’s what pisses me off. What I did was built a trap on the other side with two additional walls forming a triangle and barbed wire on the inside. So when someone tries to do the clipping exploit they’re in a mouse trap surrounded by barbed wire and going to die from two barbed wires lacerating them at once. Things like that have to be done to try and counter exploits letting survivors clip through objects, BI please correct that type of stuff.

Hopefully Devs see this feedback and consider implementing it. We should be able to have all the current functionality with them too: Add Platform, Convert into Gate, Add Barbed Wire.

I enjoy base building, but there’s some major issues with trying to make a good base. One such problem is the fact we only have one fence wall size. It would be cool to have 3 sizes: Small (1 Sheet Metal Square’s width) Medium (2 Sheet Metal Square’s width) Large (3 Sheet Metal Square’s width) Each fence wall size would have different amounts materials required to construct. This is needed in situations where a particular layout can’t be made because one size doesn’t always work.

Survivors should not be able to eat or drink whilst wearing gear that covers their mouths. Such as: Bandanas, Motorcycle Helmets, Ski Masks or anything that covers our mouths. I’m a stickler for realism and for some reason this bugs the shit out of me.

I concur, cheaters and exploits should be squashed swiftly on official servers.

You can’t trust anyone. Even survivors I’ve helped not starve to death will turn on us the second they have a weapon.
