Loving 1.24 update so far! Here’s a few bugs we’ve noticed since 1.24 update: Can opening animation when crouched, floats the can over and around survivor’s head like a magic trick. Inventory controls on Xbox are broken, used to be able to left or right trigger to go between vicinity items, to tents and base-building items like fences. Now using the triggers don’t work like they’re supposed to when dealing with those items, they work fine between equipped gear. Inventory UX for vicinity isn’t the correct width, so all inventory on left-side of screen menus are partially cut-off on their right-side. There might be a couple of other things, but that’s what jumps out at me right now. The lack of being able to use my triggers to manage inventory between vicinity items, tents and base items really is annoying for my muscle memory has been established for quickly organizing items using those buttons. -Cheers

Play on official servers and the server I rented from Nitrado.

In both first and third there’s a single center white dot, but changes to cross hairs when aiming a firearm in third person. So, no need to place a stupid dot on your TV screen.

I don’t know how duping is still an issue!? I thought those days ended with the God Tents, years ago.

Call me crazy. But Isn’t there a dam center dot on the screen HUD for that very purpose?

What cheater problems? I play on Xbox and honestly didn’t know there were any.

I’d like to see at least some of them return, it was cool that players could actually read an entire book in-game. Perfect for when it’s down pouring and nighttime, a survivor could take shelter, fire up a gas lamp & read.

Will DayZ and DayZ Editor run on a Chromebook?

I guess it’s a known issue on Bhaalshad’s Coding 101 DayZ Server Discord @Kyiara is this something we could bring to the attention of devs please and thank you?

That’s fucked up, they should try to blacklist anyone doing those things. But on Xbox, people would just use Alts to login. Alt accounts on Xbox ruin the game in so many ways.

Hey everyone, I just got back into hosting a DayZ server with Nitrado. I created several player spawn loadout JSONs, they work fine — but I do have a problem with them that I’d like to solve. If a user chooses a specific character from the Customize Character screen, then load onto our server, a randomly selected character overrides the player’s chosen character!? All characters are used in the custom loadout JSONs, so what we want to happen, is the Custom Character users select spawns in, but geared with one of the JSON loadouts. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks for your help!

Why? You really shouldn’t use older files, they’ll have conflicts with how things run now.

My friends and I Xbox cannot see any Official nor Community servers at all. We get the following errors: BIOS Error (0x0005000F) Unexpected response format. ([GetSevers] :: HTML Title: 502 Bad Gateway) BIOS Error (0x00050009) Unexpected response format. ([GetSevers] :: property ‘pages’ not found.) This is terrible timing for I literally just rented a server from Nitrado!

Everyone’s been wondering if Bohemia will migrate DayZ to latest ENFUSION ENGINE — especially because modders on PC have already been bringing DayZ full-circle back to its origins, as an Arma mod all over again for Arma Reforger on this latest engine. I think this is something Bohemia needs to announce, DayZ 2 on new ENFUSION ENGINE in order to take DayZ beyond the limitations of the OG engine and offer something more comparable to Unreal Engine 5 to create a more robust survival experience.

My freshie must-haves always involve getting stones to craft a couple stone knives, then make a spear and shred rags to make gloves so I don’t get sick killing and skinning chickens etc…
