Yah i agree with that guy. You got sniped. Never cross an open field. stick to the tree line. Always stay on the safest route from A to B. Seems like everytime, even with the population low someone can see you. And trust me they'll never pass up an opportunity to take a shot. God speed.

Down load a Dayz map app. IZurvive or central for dayz. The map shows heli crashes. Takes time to find them but i found my 2 m4's 3 viagas, 2 ump45 at them. No luck on Ak's there but the 4 i have came from other ppls bases or stashes. If you explore the map you'll find something eventually.

Be strong. The more you play the easier it will be. Keep watching vids to find out tips an tricks. Once you've mastered food, zombies and weather your biggest obstacle will be unfriendly players. With that rule#1 is trust no one.

Today May 7th almost every official server was at high population. The one i play on is usually medium to low and very rarely high. I was in a queue of 22 before i was able to play. I dont think there was an update. Was the game free to play? Why so many ppl? Is it the virus?

I've been playing this game since 0.63 and have had attempted multiple times to build a base. However every i time i bulid one my walls, gates or locks were destroyed and i was raided. They've never really even been big bases either. Just a berrel or two inside. I've noticed on the server i play on more bases popping up and many of them intact for long periods of time. I lone wolf it so i dont normally break into someone's base but a person was building fairly close to a dig spot of mine so i attempted to hack saw their lock off. The saw was destroyed within 10 secs of using it. I actually took it as a good sign. Do other tools, sledge hammers, axes and what not destroy faster thus making harder when trying to raide a base? I just want to know before i put in the time and effort of making a base and if it's worth my while now. If not I'll just keep burrying my stuff in the woods.

If you run up the coast you can find spaghetti, tuna, sardines or peaches in boats. Run up or down the coast and you should get enough to head inland. Or find an animal like a sheep or pig. Hit them with an axe or sledge hammer to kill them instantly. You can break sticks with your hands but youll need a knife to cut bark off trees. Make a hand drill kit and presto, fire. Roast those tasty little critters and you never go hungry again.

So many more ppl. I was in a queue of 67 just to get on the server i play on. Im based on the north end of the map and luckly it's actually pretty quiet. I bet the coast is a blood bath right now. Dev added one more page and a half of servers but i think they're gonna need more. Hopefully after a week or two it'll quiet down. I hope.

Ive never done it but maybe it's time to go blast some fresh spawns. Yah.

Thanks for the info. Im hoping the games too hard for ppl. I dont mind a hard server but when the queue is over 20 or 40, geez la weez.

If your lucky you can find a base or stash. However checking every apartment block is a grind.

I like hunting in this game but one shot kills on big game can be tough because they're fast and often run away. Any suggestions on the best way or gun to down your prey with the least amount of effort. So far I've downed a cow with a dome shot using the blaze with both rounds. Haven't tried it on bucks or bores yet. Also shooting a cow while it's running away up the ass gives you very little meat and fat. FYI

I have 3 accounts. One for pvp servers and the other two on one public server. However they're on different parts of the map. One far north and the other to the far west. With a halfway stash in between to pass things to each other. They're geared diffently for the environment. One guy hunts and the other guy gathers military gear, ammo and guns. To me it's like having two diffent load outs and it saves time without all the running around the map. That can take hours and often i dont have a lot of time to play. I think it's just a matter of how one uses alt character. There are cheating ways and non cheating ways.

Used to be other players foot steps, gun fights and wolves that got my pulse pumping. Now it's the roar of a bear in close proximity. Ive only had one encounter close up with one, luckily i managed to get between rocks to avoid its rath but ran out of ammo and had to log out. I logged in after 20 mins and it was gone. Thank God. But since then i go way out of the way to avoid them. However i do want to hunt one and take it down. I just need to strategize more.

I feel ya man. Zombies can be a pain. I try to crouch and have a knife hot keyed. I go for the first one that's alerted. If you catch it quick enough, it wont alert others. God speed.

Internet connection can help. No dsl. But the game will improve.

I've played this game since.063 and things usually get better. So give it some time. It'll happen.Deathmatch servers are a challenge to ppl who play with controllers compared to key board and mouse. Oh well, just makes you better when you can take them out. Quit complaining and talk about something better like how hunting for food makes things interesting and sickness is a challenge. This is a mans game and that means being able to overcome challenges. Even if the game isn't completed. If you die just remember its just a video game. P.S soy milk make you weak.

The public server i was on disappeared. I had so much loot stashed since the last board wipe. I dont whether i should wait or get on a different server.

Makes sense. Aiming a a single wolf among 3 others is a hell of a thing to do. Ive messed with the setting but haven't found anything good.

All im really saying is try another game instead of complaining. We all know what is wrong with the game. Your not telling anyone anything they dont already know. Updates always come sooner or later and things get fixed. My intension wasn't to be toxic but half the threads on this forum are just ppl whining about a video game thats not 100% finished. Lets all be more creative and come up with more beneficial threads that celebrate such a unique game. Such as "best fishing spots", how to craft, hunting, "where to set an ambush". I know you can do it. I believe in you. I believe in DayZ.

Dont give little buddy. There are plenty of guides on you tube On how to survive. Once you master food and water the world will be your oyster. Food spawns on the coast in the boats on the shore. That's the easiest source. Dry back packs can be burried with a shovel. Fill up the bags, burry it, then fill up another. Boom shaka locka.

I think trying another game would be a more suitable idea for you. Why waste time getting frustrated when you know you can't learn new things. Perhaps mine craft or fortnite would be a game you're good at.

Your IQ is too low for this game. Stop playing immediately. Food is the last thing i have to worry about. I'm sorry i don't want to sound harsh but populations on servers are too high with ppl with low IQs. Simply quitting the game will help everyone.
