That's wierd cause i love this game. I've been on it since .063 and have not put it down. There has never been a game that has come out that's anywhere near the realism for survival. The game is very hard at first but once you master food the whole map and experience opens up. Keep at it and dont give up. But If the game turns out to be too hard It's just you may be a low IQ player. And there's nothing wrong with that, some ppl are just born stupid.

So i only used my shovel for digging up my stashs and never needed to repair it. With the new update however the time has come for repairs and i don't know what to do to fix it. Or can it be fixed? P.s I'm diggin the new update;)

When you're geared for so long, weeks, months and if lucky years. a person can forget how to start from scratch. Last time i died it took me 2 real days to get back to NWAF. Its happens. Stay strong and remember ill always be there when you need me.

Yesterday and today the official server list wont load. Just says "unable to get severs"However the community list does. Anyone have this problemo?

Sometimes if your lucky you can find a green one at a heli crash site. Also green ghillie suits, shrugs and cloaks.

Dont get discouraged when you die from starving to death 50 or so times. Once you master food the game really opens up to you. First item to find is a knife. Or a Sharpe tool.

Disinfect your rags before you use them to bandage. Alcohol tincture and disinfectant spray are the trick.

Ive noticed that too. If a tall bush gives you a log "cut bush" one more time and a stick should fall out.

The clayink server is always fun. I go there when i want to change up the pace for a bit. Or if it wont stop raining for 2 hours on the official server i play on. It's pvp, plenty of good guns and you spawn all over nwaf.

Lately in the far west of the map they've been popping up. Im pretty sure they've been coming from the large summer camp. I've found 4 that someone has just placed and left. Try looking at any summer camp near you. Or just make the journey west.

I just came back from a 10 vacation and when i got on to play there was a small update. Then i went to check my stashes. I notice a few burried stashes had dissappeared. What's strange is that not all my stashes were gone. Some right next to each other had vanished. If someone found my stash they were nice enough to leave my vss and m4s. I checked another location and the same thing. One stash was missing while the other was untouched. Has anyone else experienced the same thing?

Download a dayz app on your phone. There will be a way to see helicopter crashes on the map. Set up a route that covers at least 10 to 12 sites. Seraching all 12 takes about 30 to 45 mins. Everyday you play do that route. I do this everytime i get on. That's how ive found 4 M4's and 1 AK 101. At some evac sites you can find a ka74 "mini ak" those are actually not to rare. Just have to look in the right spot. But to find evac sites download either izurvive or dayz central for your phone. This will change your world.

The more you play the easier it gets to navigate. I have a home base in the north of the map but when i get really bored i go on "walk about" to explore the map. Do this a few times and you'll learn the map. As long as you know where you are the names of towns aren't that important. A compass is handy as well.

Sounds like building bases is better now since the 1.08 update. Im thinking about getting out of the woods and back into society. Im gonna start with a "dummie" base and see how long it takes to get messed with. If it last ill call it home. If not ill just keep on the outskirts of town lurking in the shadows. Staying in the tree line during the day and sneaking around in town at night. Watching, waiting and staying hidden.

First item to find is a knife or hatchet. Something sharp. This will aid in food and fire. Kill chickens for there meat when you start. Dont drink from ponds streams or rivers unless you have a container and chlorine tabs. Once you have a sledge hammer or gun kill a cow. Cook and store the meat in a crate and bury it. Animal fat will keep you fed for hours. Keep some tetramyacin "antibiotics" on you incase you catch a cold from the rain or if you drink nasty water. Avoid strangers and you should be able to survive for a long time. Oh yah if you hear a bear, get as far away as you can. God speed out there and i love you more then a friend.

Animal fat goes a long way. Kill a cow, or even better a pack of wolves if you survive the attack. cook and store the meat for later. I usually just keep 2 animal fat on me. It will last hours if you just eat half at a time.

Those guns can be found on official servers. You just have to map out a route that has about 10 to 15 crashes on it. If you search each spot everyday you'll find something. I check 12 on my route and have found 5 m4's and one Ak 101 it just takes time and patience.

After the 1.08 update my characters stamina was cut in half. To make matters worse i have a full canteen of water, i drink the water and gain a little stamina back but when i refill the canteen with same amout of water my stamina will drain to the point were i have no stamina. I have to log out and log back in to gain it back.

That's just dayz. Trust me the game runs way faster then it used to. Seems like with every update things get smoother.

Bury crates and dry bags. But not too close to each other. Too close and the game lags a bit and that's how someone will find your stash. The further apart the better. Plus the chance of all you stuff being taken is lower. Bury the bag or crate in tall grass of foliage. Bushes are good too.

I feel your pain. Took me over 2 weeks to find a stove burner for a propane tank when i needed one. Just tell yourself you need to find a pickaxe and look where they spawn and i bet you'll find some nails.

Update. My character is in the north west to western part of the map. Each time i log on i do my chopper crash route. In the last week i found 2 m4s and 2 ump45. Not to mention the 2 viagas, gullie shrug and cloak. I like i said download an app and start searching. They'll come to you. One other thing is to get on a pvp community server that way you know how to use it. I go to "!clayinkyoutube" its usually on the 12th page on the community server list. Best part is, you wont lose your location spot when you switch back to the offical server you last played on. God speed.
