This isn't really an answer seeing as one has already been stated , but make sure you are rolling whilst holding W when trying to get around with a broken leg. This makes you go slightly faster, not sprinting faster, but noticeable enough.

You just gotta have patience and unfortunately your friends need to realize it is -i'm going to get hate for repeating it- an Alpha. I have played in many alpha that were so much more buggy than DayZ, and though some may not realize it discovering and logging these bugs are just steps required for a successful Beta and release. Though communication is a great thing to want and we could use a little more, i just like to think that they are busy making things nice and polished.

Before i lost my hero skin i used to use an AKS-74 Kobra. Not the most threatening gun and it packs a punch for self defense. I could typically run up to an injured or overwhelmed player with my weapon down and we would talk over direct and go on our ways. Sometimes i would administer medical supplies and whatnot but it was a good experience.

Idk what it is but i feel so paranoid when i get my gear and i relish firefights. Dying is just a chance to bounce back and have fun with the struggle! The rush from having nothing to lose and jumping at people with a hatchet is just unmatched.

Winchester by far, i just feel like a bad ass when i use it and its so reliable. I haven't gotten to use it in a while but i always have fun with it when i die and get to use it again!

Indeed it makes script kiddies get boned, but legit programmers and hackers who have a lot expendable income will just get the game again and not think twice about a paltry $15. To many the havoc they cause and rage they induce far outweighs the cost.

It's an unfortunate side affect of a mod for a vulnerable game code. Most of those problems will be addressed once this game hits standalone i'm sure. Though it wont be a solution for the current stage of DayZ once hackers are reduced to near non-existence the problems will stop arising with honest players being fucked. And unfortunately the whole Starter Pack thing could be abused as well as the choosing a spawn point.

Lol may as well just give you a rail gun. Unfortunately 90% of players today will just alt-F4 and never see you again. It's sad but true; as it is if i don't headshot with the 8k rifle that's the end of the fight but not their life.

I'm sure it is, i'm tempted to make a post in the suggestion forums asking if they can be used to make fire places because of how common they are. i've been reverting to cz550's I find just to use something different for a change. Side note: Cz feels so much rarer to me lol

The whole problem with the objections people are making is that in a realistic scenario as zombies die in an area they don't come back and with that brings the benefit of having safe havens. For a mod touted for realistic zombie play within a game praised for realism it only seems logical. And for people saying the game doesn't need story, it already kinda does. You can use the radio at green mountain and get a hint as to why this area got fucked. The story doesn't have to be overt and beat you over the head with it, but it can be subtle and in the background so that players who want to find it can to gain a bit of immersion and other people can go play their zombie sandbox game and kill players. It makes sense for the future of a game like this even if its just minimal and somewhat window dressing.

indeed most people who have a hacked weapon aren't hackers, especially the AS50 TWS. That gun is more common than the legit version.

Would be nice, i feel so wasteful and to large of a target using most vehicles ESPECIALLY the UH-1H since i play alone alot. Would be a nice alternative to the Dirt Bike and Bicycle.

Best i can say is restart your game and if that doesn't work then change your video memory from your normal settings to low and back again. And if THAT doesn't work do the flush and the other two and that should at least get it. Hope it helps!

As long as you don't save the tents after you take the items the player will get them back. Though this ruins any sort of "endgame" it is a really nice thing to do for new people, I like to put Winnies and other supplies in tents on the coast and leave em around in the hopes that maybe one of those little guys can get the drop on a guy camping elektro.
