Hi! I think, that adding something like a chance to jam/weapon reliability or condition would be really cool. It could keep really 'fed' players more balanced, as just getting gear wouldn't make you god now, and it make more sense. If civilization really 'crashed' how many people do you think would really pick up a m4 if they knew they had no means to properly clean, and lubricate it? Wouldn't they pick up the ak? As the saying goes, after nuclear apocalypse 3 things survive: Cockroaches, Twinkies, and Aks.
