If you think in the scope of DayZ.. Everything is pretty much spooky.. A small Building in the middle of the woods spooks me just as much.. (It reminds me of the beginning of 28 days later)

Instead of having there be a meter that fills up (like fallout's RAD meter) have a chance % based on where you are.. having the hazmat would decrease your chance of contracting any illness really.. and the more exposed you are, the more likely you will be infected

The picture for Takistan is in fact a bird's eye view of Zargabad.. Accident? also.. I believe that is "Thirsk Winter".. not "Thirsk".. "Thirsk" is the non-snow version of that map.. -

Buying ArmA II isn't a bad idea you know, It's not just a mod for DayZ.. there are soooooooooo many other things you can do with the game.. soo many other mods and communities. It's a really great game in fact, and to have it would be a definite plus for anyone interested in legit mil-sim.. Look into some youtube videos.. you'll see it's more than just dayZ..

Found a fellow in the field, who looked to be Healed with piss and vinegar was he full of today but, not right in his way, was his curious sway as he gushed his red blood towards thine nay upon his rump was mighty ol' stump made worse by the smell of decay I poked at him once with a sound known to much, the words echoed "friendly are yee?" With this much surprise filled his bright yellow eyes as he saw me offering my please. At once he lunged, axe high, IQ low, towards the man with the bandage at keen. "trying to help!" twas my cry, as my bullet pierced his eye, and his hate was no more to be seen. -

before suggesting things, ask yourself "will this feel pushed?" This is very pushed, as I can't even think of two separate occasions where my attacker failed to kill me and is back in the vicinity of the same character he failed to eliminate.. -

So a group of bandits who kidnap fresh spawns.. take them to a forest of random choice.. circle helicopters and patrol vehicles around the forest area.. sends in a hunting party equipped with rifles to hunt the fresh spawns.. and anyone who makes it out alive is given a ten second head start to get away from them again.. And if they are to survive again, the action is rinsed and repeated until the person literally evades the hunting party.. and we crown a new champion? sound good guys?

the only two legit suggestions, bean bag rounds and body armor.. -
needles are a huge transmitter of disease and bacteria.. I love the idea.. getting people sick by sharing needles or not treating an open wound.. brilliant!

No way to bring about this change through suggestions, maybe give it a try yourself. These guys are buried to their necks in things to deal with, & what would really help is some actual steps towards development & integration. Modding is the best way to go.

is this gripe really forum worthy? post things constructive on the forums, those are things that no one really has control over. example: "I think it's annoying that private servers alter their day-night schedule" people can then comment back telling you from firsthand as an admin of a private server, why they do it. Or someone who plays on a server you may be interested in can post the server IP, which informs us all and boosts the popularity of forum criticism. read things back to yourself before posting.. and ask yourself, "Does this benefit anyone in the DayZ community" and people will appreciate the effort. -
If you could make 3 specific changes what would they be?

1) Better magazine, bullet, and storage tracking. (a mag in my gun is no longer in my gear) (two half full mags equal one full one) (Crossbows are useless without quivers) 2) removal of peripheral dots (the Zombie spawn distance is easy enough to exploit as it is) 3) Increase in Zombie numbers, randomization, and difficulty. (and maybe some visual fixes wouldn't hurt) -
The aspect of "densely populated" isn't justified with a city as small as cherno.. the smallest town in my county has 800+ homes/buildings/structures.
