I second this. The most "authentic" one I've been in. No 12 hour days and 10 second nights. Night is around/just less than an hour and none of the "CuM gEt SuM SmoKe" in the discord either. I'd deffo give the discord a look at least...... It's in the recruitment tab.

The way I understand it at the moment ( I may be wrong) Is that duping can only happen upon a server restart. Get rid of the server restart messages so people can't prepare for the duping and this in turn would get rid of the duping. I certainly haven't seen any methods pop up on YT nor any Kids on FB running around with matching, duped outfits apart from this way so I assumed it had been patched successfully. As I say, I could be wrong however and the cheaters could have found a way.

When talking to a random guy their PSN ID is visible above their head. So basically if you screw them over you have their ID. I'm sure there is something else as well but I've never played it on PS so couldn't say for sure. I'm sure somebody will know.

It is also only a game....... I see this game as going for a walk in the wood's with my buddies, if I'm not laughing along or messing about I'm not having a good time.

I'm pretty sure I read in one of the earlier patch notes that this was an intended feature so I think it is highly unlikely it will be returning. Just think yourself lucky you aren't on PlayStation!!

Also @ImpulZ if updates have to be released at the same time how did the accidental update release for Xbox and not PS4 just last month? Surely that proves they can be separate.

As someone above said, I'm happy to wait longer if it means the issues are solved (helps that I'm away for a week from this Thursday!). Let's be honest, most issues can (hopefully) be solved with private servers and given these are coming my fingers are firmly crossed. I do worry about an over saturation of servers much like Ark and it will also be interesting to see just how much control server owners have over them. I'd hope it is as much as PC but I guess it all depends who they choose to host them, Nitrado have not done a bad job with Ark servers and the owners get full control over pretty much everything. Hopefully this way the PVP/trolly players can have their mega boosted insta geared servers and the better, real Dayz players can have theirs.

Yep. The small room at the top of factory only accessible by a ladder. Even better when there are meatballs camping it too. Damn near impossible to kill the people in there at the best of times.

Thank god somebody finally said this. I've been thinking it for a while but I literally haven't seen 1 thread on here nor a FB/twitter/reddit post mentioning an issue with duping. Hopefully the devs take note now somebody has brought their attention to it! GG M8

Hes probably just ignoring a self confessed duper. They said earlier today they dont know if a wipe is coming. Look it up.

You now don't need to switch servers to dupe providing you leave and re enter the same one quickly enough.

"Give them a bloody chance"? I'm sorry, Duping has been going on since preview in Xbox and for 5-6 years on PC. This should have been fixed by now. Since an early update on Xbox (maybe 3 months after release) towns and larger cities have been no go zones due to frame drops/sound delay/lag. Meatballing has been a thing on Xbox since day of release, firefights are joke with the amount of lag that comes with them (especially on the coast). A recent hotfix got out that wasn't meant to get out. Firstly, how the hell does this even happen and secondly said hotfix then broke scopes and also created an issue with not being able to pick up items dropped by friends. Do BI have a QA testing team?! We heard about recent removal of servers on Xbox from the players first both on here and FB. It seems they only announced the removal of the servers and the reasoning for it because players raised it first, were they actually going to announce and why or just take them way? Interaction with the community is terrible, at least give them something..... anything even if it's months down the line, let them know what you are working on. (I thought wildcard were bad in this respect but jeez) With every update new items are added instead of fixing existing issues, I'm sure I'm not the only one that would prefer to go back to early Xbox days when persistence wasn't a thing, there wasn't as many weapons/clothing/QoL items in the game but at least it ran relatively smooth in comparison to the framey/laggy mess it is now. The only reason I've stuck around is because I love the game and I want it to be a success. It is way past "Give them a bloody chance" now. They need to sort their sh*t out before the game dies. I'm hoping recent changes within the Dev team go some way to improving the game but time will tell. 1.0 lul.

They did do up to 150 players. That was with 0 duped gear in the server so who knows how they'd run. I'm just glad BI are focussing on what's important at the moment like increasing server capacity.....

I play 1pp however I certainly don't like down on 3pp players. The 3pp is a game setting not an exploit like duping/meatballing. Imo you do find a better standard of player as well as friendlier players on 1pp servers but that might just be my experience.

That might work for a couple of hours. Until the dupers get to work anyway. It really doesnt take them long to do it now especially considering the god tent method.

Dude had it all over his Xbox feed. Clips of him doing it, matching outfits with 6 and 7 of his buddies including guns as well as meatballing. (The 2 tend to go hand in hand imo) Right there for everyone to see. It was almost funny that he was so unashamedly doing it.

Very noble and I commend your efforts @FearFokkol Sadly I don't think much will be done.I tried reporting a cheater a few weeks back and nothing happened. Sad what's happened to the game, infuriating that these guys don't see they are doing anything wrong, certainly the FB groups don't. Just selfish people I suppose. We all paid the same price as them yet are getting a sub-standard experience just because they can't be bothered to play the game the way it should be played. I hope that duping is cleared up completely in the next patch along with a full wipe to get rid of all the duped items. Sadly I don't think either will happen judging by BI's track record.

Anyone know anyway to report cheaters or if it will do any good? Normally I wouldn't be bothered but this dude has got it plastered all over his xbox feed of him duping and meatballing. Figure if he's not bothered about showing it off then he's not bothered about being caught. TIA

Nope. Kids all over the community FB groups are bragging about the new ways they are doing it and how they are spoiling the game for others. Such a shame. Sounds a good patch from the notes but duping should be such an easy fix. I'll still play, only cos my gaming buddies do but this isn't the game I paid for at all.
