The group i am with to my knowledge does not hack nor has any hacked items either. The only thing i can think of that would look like our group has hacked is that i believe that the URAL had an AS50 Thermal in it. "Tyler" was the one to acquire this vehicle and when he saw it he freaked out and it was only after researching abit online to find out that that is not an in game item. Either way i would like to get this resolved so that we can all be allowed to play together on your server again. I'm not entirely sure how admins are able to see EVERYTHING that happens on there server. Hmmmmmmm I'm not really sure the logs would show the activities a vehicle participated in. Weird how chump and I both had instant death at the exact same time after our shenanigans last evening. How odd

Can we get back to the issue at hand. We are banned for an assumption and your server could potentially be dropped from hive which nobody wants. So again... how is this going to be resolved?

Ok fine you didnt ghost maybe i just didnt see all the people. Why again are we banned Dino? That's no different than what we did. The stealing of a vehicle. Other people take your wheels no ban. We take your wheels just simply more so we are hackers. I don't care what you guys think of us. I just want to be able to play on the server I've called home for awhile. Hopefully we can find an agreement on this.

So you admit that your banning us because we took your vehicles? at grid ref 011/030 there was a broken down bus and a car, my inexperienced bud Brian who was shot first out of all of us, has had this game less than a week and hes the one that found them, he provided grid ref and we then proceeded down west border of the map found a total of of 4 camps with about 12 tents between all of them. It was my understanding that responsible Server Admins do not ban people that find their gear. I understand that your mad we found them i would be too. This is DayZ... if you want a game that is a bit more forgiving for poorly placing items then i suggest you look for one. So i will look forward to hearing your next reply... Much Love, neverm1nd

Kitta has a good point. And this is no means a stab at veterans. I served and thank all those that have as well. But what the OP has suggested is realism and that would be after your done playing as a bandit in dayz then all the sudden you have no reliable healthcare, can't hold a job, and require therapy... if this sounds stupid its because it is stupid. Pvp is an integral part of this game. In a broad stroke... should team play be encouraged yes. But you will always have shoot first ask questions later players. Please by no means take offense to the veteran comment it was meant to illustrate how dumb the anti pvp posts are Ugh I'm sure that post is gonna get some hate mail....

As womb already stated it was suggested before. If it doesn't pertain to ya eagle then don't go out of your way to read then post. Reference the thread or something if your gonna put that much effort into making painful see it was done before

The loot spawns if there were a shorter day night cycle should be spawn at night star spawn at day start. Either way the mechanics implemented right now suit me just fine its nice to find the high end loot but it feels eve. Better after finding the garbage loot for an hour and a half. Not sure that the shorter cycles would ever be implemented but if it is I hope its a server command and not forced a cross all servers then the players could carry items over only to and from servers with the same lootspawn and cycle settings.

DayZ in my opinion is headed in the right direction as far as the difficulty is concerned, as a new player your probably going to go in one of two ways: #1 Shit a zombie is over in that field lets go nowhere near that son of a bitch...(This type will live a long time but never collect any real worthwhile loot, maybe a winchester from an isolated farm after taking a few minutes to grow some balls and go into a barn) #2 Hell yeah a zombie... i already found this gun so i think i should shoot it because kill count matters, or at least it does in COD... (This type typically wont live more than an hour or two, just long enough to find themselves a weapon and be just stupid enough with it to kill themselves. Players who dont quickly accept the fact that you have to run, crawl, crouch, sneak, and shoot only when needed and that conservation is key... Will not make it far and will either stop playing or complain that the game is too difficult because it isnt what they are used to. Im not trying to call anybody a whiner or a crybaby, however the differences in this game are the very reason we play it, it really is a breath of fresh air in the gaming community. Eve Online for example has a learning curve so steep that the average player age is 26 or 27 i believe. I like that there arent tons of young kids playing this game hot mic'ing the global channel like a boss. not really any point to this post just had to get it out of my system

happened to me on my first character i raged about it for a fat 20 minutes. an "are you sure, this will destroy all of your gear/inventory and start your from the beginning" message should deff be there

Playing on us222 yesterday and the majority of loot spawns in a barn i was in were hatchets, normally wouldnt care but i had no food or drink so i was in need of anything other than a hatchet. DayZ+US222 been playing between that server and chicago 67 for about the past 3 weeks, and doesnt look like the server recently started backup, all the heli crash sites that i know of are still in place on us222 i do know that chicago 67 has restarted tho, my choppers are gone :(

The only two items i agree with on this are points #4 and #5, the rest would be very difficult to implement. it would involve new skins, code, animations, etc. We need to focus on Streamlining the mechanics that are already implemented in the game prior to adding new ones which take the game into a broader direction. 4 and 5 are nice ides tho, didnt think of tent for warmth. :)
