Why don't you like the UMP? I'm the opposite; I'll drop the mp5 for the Ump in a heartbeat. .45cal>9mm imo. I haven't tested it in the latest patch, but the mp5 dropped a zed after 3 shots to the upper chest, where the Ump or FNX (same ammo) drops them in one... I'll drop the FNX, though coz of jamming, however I've never had a Ump jam on me, yet (knock on wood)...

I don't know if it's the same after the most recent update, but I was on all day yesterday and even died once, but when I came back to my base, the gates were still locked and my stash was still there (on same server ofc)... I'll confirm today, but you may need to check your facts.

Can't find a hammer to build your base? Use a hatchet! The hatchet will degrade quicker than a hammer, so keep your eye on it, however you can repair your "hamchet" with duct tape!

That sucks, man. So much time and searching for mats wasted. It's frustrating, but that's why they have the disclaimer on the load up screen that this kind of thing may happen. All you can do is start again. -

What period of restart of the server?

So is there a precise reset time in place? I.e. for server 5400 reset times are 0100 gmt, 0300 gmt etc. I've searched reddit but have only come up with info up to last year... The reason I ask is because I have a server that I stick to and I'm in a gmt +10 timezone, so I'd like to know what time is best for me to log on before/as all the server hoppers are looting so I can get some loot/hunt the hoppers... -
So, the way I understand it is if I build a base all by my lonesome and then die, my base gets wiped, too. Is this correct? Say my group and I build a base together, as in, for each wall, we all contribute wood and nails etc, if one of us died would the base still wipe??

Haha well, obviously. Good point. I think I'd like to build a base just to get the hang of it. I've only encountered one player base and that was inside a warehouse, which was an interesting idea. They had about 20 red hiking backpacks, so I think they were duplicating... I'm the exact same! I haven't found a single tent. I've found camo netting galore, though. Is server locking characters going to be a thing?

Is there any clothing that can protect you from the rain and cold? I tried a raincoat and raincoat pants, but I'm still drenched and cold. The quilted jacket doesn't help with warmth, either, but I know that it doesn't help with rain, so that is pointless. Is there anything that works at least for keeping warm?

In the description for the SG5-K submachinegun, it says that the weapon takes .45 calibre ammunition (causing some naïve players to discard their 9mm ammo). The magazine description gives the correct ammunition type. Moral: the SG5-K is just an mp5-k, which takes 9mm ammo. Don't trust the description in hoping to get more punch from this little gun. Since this is a "questions" area, I'd better include one; will this be fixed?
