You can already customize your character. You go into arma, make a new profile and select your appearance. you can make yourself look like a zombie. Also if you read 3 all the way through I didn't really sound like I expected that to much to begin with.

Hi, I'm pretty sure a lot of people have noticed some features that cant be taken advantage of in Day Z. Such as map features, if you make a note on maps everyone can see it. Idk how realistic it is that I marked everyone's map on the server with my note. Like if i put (x)CAMP SITE HERE will bring immediate destruction to your camp. So the suggestion contains the following. 1. The ability to add someone to a group or party. 2. Add a lock button so that you do not get spammed with party invites (WoW or any mmo) 3. (Maybe) Add a overhead display that would be displayed at the top of the screen that projects present cc's of blood, food, and water. To better maintain the sustainability of the squad. I know that I've heard rocket wanting to get rid of most of the icon displays so i don't know about that suggestion anyways. I don't believe this would be generally difficult to do. Really all you need to do is make a command prompt such as /p invite Adam. followed by a dialog box with confirm or deny. As well and a command /p lock. Just a suggestion to play with your friends better and maintain some certain features.

This is basically a main question to devlopers or moderators. I know that there was an attack on the hive and what not, but it seems like most of the servers are up except the server I mainly play on. Well realistically if you think about it civilians would have a better chance of survival because they have the option to go hide. If you were in the military at the time you would be assigned to a military base and your objective would be to maintain the problem. Soldiers aren't invincible. Keep in mind that this apocalypse is based on a disease, not based on the rising dead. possible that military personnel got sick inside the base and it got fucked up from the inside out. Also, safe zones is a horrible idea for this game. I don't want to feel safe in the game cause it would absolutely ruin the game experience for anyone. Whats the point if you feel safe? In the real world, people would kill you for a can of beans if they were starving and had the opportunity.

Another thing that I was thinking about to prevent this would be to server save your character. Meaning once you log out on US 161 next to a tree and try to move onto another server to get avoid that location and relog, You still remain next to that same tree on US 161. People who would complain about that are the ones exploiting to avoid death. When really, if you need to do that during a alpha testing mod. You're a giant pussy and should go back to Call of Duty.

No idea what this kid is talking about. Whenever I hear a gun shot coming near me or when or when I die, I either scream fuck or "nonononononononononono" and if i die i have to resist breaking my keyboard. I dont know what you refer to as equipment you can just replace in 2 hours but I cant replace my FN FAL or L85A2 in 2 hours. You can't find that many crash sites in 2 hours. normally at least. Now what could be implemented in a Hardcore mode on top of this already hardcore survival mod. Being that once you select your gender, you can then select a harder play style. Instead of changing everyone's experience. Who wants to jump into a game they just bought. Die cause they are learning and aggro a ton of zombies then have to wait an half hour to play again.... that would be developer suicide.

if you played with people it wouldnt happen. Get a squad, and some blood bags. someone could have saved you and you wouldn't be complaining that you went to a airbase it looks like with about 80% blood. You realized if you lost 20% of your blood in real life you wouldn't be feeling too good when someone hit you. Keep also in mind that these aren't dead zombies, they are infected live people zombies.

Dylan you forget that everything you do that involves the Internet gets logged into a database. I gave him a screen name, you can trace it back to the specific server. Check the post compared to the amount of times he has logged onto the server in the last 5 min. I love how you defend cheating in this game.

Hey guys I posted on the wrong forum section. Please change to the section cheat reporting and give the thread 5 stars please.

A guy by the name of yazoo on a server hosted by FoE found a camp that me and my squad set up. He killed one of our members and as soon as I opened fire on him he shut down his game by using alt+f4, transferred servers to change positions and then came back and tried to shoot us again FOUR TIMES. Please ban this garbage as it ruins the game.

It our situation for the loot we has it had to be protected. We loaded what we could on our bus and transferred it. I stayed behind to protect. If he wasnt being a piece of shit this situation would have been avoided. I don't think characters should save globally they should save to server. Even if you alt f4 you can't change your position. I understand being able to change servers has its plusses. However I think that fix would solve many many problems.

We were raiding starry sober the other night and a guy just like him charged at us I shot at him and he alt +f4ed. It's bullshit. And I just died probably by the same guy. Honestly I think he has a maphack.
