GIVEAWAY ! RIGHT NOW ! 2 x nvg, 2 x gps , 1 x rangefinder
BearGravy replied to Hetstaine's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I'll take some NVG's -
Possibly hacking and cheating should be priority number one on the to do list. I've been in 2 servers with hackers, all they did was spawn a tank, or kill everyone on the server, but other than that I haven't ran into anything to serious. But from the sound of it some people are just having bad luck with them constantly and they should really get on it rather than decide to give heroes and bandits skins.

Buy a new headset. Or google the problem and the name of your headset, if it's logitech or something, I am pretty sure they have a forum for it, this isn't a place to post it since it's dayz general not mic problems general.

Give me 100 dollars and a ticket to mexico, it will take a month.

ghillie suit turned into civilian clothing!!!
BearGravy replied to worsin's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
You got some major balls if you traded your friend for a ghillie suit man, I can't even do that. -
I like this idea, you should post it on the dayz suggestions forums
-
So you want DayZ, but it's $30.
BearGravy replied to omgwtfbbq (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Well you informed me to late, I always thought you had to buy combined operations, I had Arma 2 free, I don't touch Arma 2 at all, I only play Operation Arrowhead. I wish I saw this sooner. -
You can join me man. SteamID is FoxHound. I am always looking for friends.
-
Go for the ghillie or for the leaderboard.

3 Days Ago I bought game to play DayZ Mod and quitting.
BearGravy replied to yourbrofino's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
That's understandable I guess. But when the standalone comes out you should get that, it will be a bit more fixed, or when the standalone is at full release, then there will be no hackers and such. -
Standalone by September? No chance
BearGravy replied to TheMachine's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Oh so you know everything about game releases right? So we should take your word because you have released a game in the past? I can't wait for the standalone in September. I would pay 30 bucks for it if necessary. And if it follows the Minecraft model that's perfect, because then you are with the game the whole time it progresses, from alpha to beta to full release. -
Please enable respawn option again
BearGravy replied to roykingtree's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
roykingtree spawned roykingtree spawned roykingtree spawned roykingtree spawned roykingtree spawned roykingtree spawned Gets annoying doesn't it? It also forces the server to slow down a bit. You also don't have to criticize the game because it doesn't answer all your wishes. It's a survival game, with realism, adding the respawn button back would take away from that realism. Grow a pair and just run to your butt buddy. Criticizing the game won't get you any closer to what you want. -
DayZ browser map with customizable notes.

Beat me to it. -
A few changes I'd like to see...
BearGravy replied to capri_stylee's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I sort of like the bike idea, but I dislike the safe zone idea, that would be exploited instantly. -
So Dale does know his guns.

Yay, Bandit and Hero identifiers are coming in
BearGravy replied to tuleg1t's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I kinda don't want this to happen, just because I don't like the idea of knowing that you are a bandit or hero. Then again I really don't care because I kill anyone who aren't in my group. -
I hate it when people do this, apparently it's fair when you are on the right side, but when you are on the wrong side of the barrel it stopped being fair. I constantly get so close to killing a clan of 3 or 4 on my own, and they decide to quit because one of there buddies got shot. I sucked it up like a man, I got a DMR a coyote back pack, right behind the tower of balota, if you want a piece of me come find me, I am not scared of death anymore, I will start over when ever.
-
Well sir you do have a point, all kills are fair, and when you are on the wrong side of the barrel, its not fair all of a sudden. I agree with you 90%. I deducted 10% because do to the fact that its still in alpha, there still are exploits and still abuse of the game, hackers are almost everywhere man.

Night time doesn't serve a purpose
BearGravy replied to jayboltz's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Yeah I agree, night time doesn't serve a purpose. Neither does day so lets put it in a limbo of day and night. Also guns don't serve a purpose either, we just kill with them, lets take that out to. Lets also take out cities and loot, who needs loot? It doesn't serve a purpose anywhere in the game. How about lets take backpacks away also? I don't need extra storage, lets also just take out active inventory as well. Lets also take out hunger and thirst, they don't serve a purpose either. Yeah that sounds like the game I want to play. -
Not in its current state, but it won't always stay in alpha, so I say yes, it is worth 30.

-=TGU=- Tactical, casual, and realistic clan
BearGravy posted a topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
TGU stands for Tactical Gameplay Unit. We are mostly on DayZ. That is our home game. Doesn't mean we won't play Minecraft from time to time. Basically this group was made as a radio. Bandits and Survivors alike can join, there are virtually no rules. If a bandit gets someone killed in this group it's all fair game. Because you will never know who is on the other side of that radio. If you want to join I need a steamID. That is all. You can give me skype and TeamSpeak ID's, but it isn't necessary as I am the only admin that will go on those while playing the game. Anyway's I didn't pick the name, and there are roles in the group, you can be with the other Admin Acix, who added roles such as sniper, gunner, spottter, etc. (I am part of one of the divisions.) Or you can mostly play casual with me. Foxhound (Which is my steamID). I don't really play like that all that much I am more casual, I play Minecraft with people if they want, or something co-op. So there is variety when joining the group. Realism, tactical, casual, bandit, survivor, doesn't matter. If you want to join, like I said before, just drop me a SteamID, I will get to you as soon as possible. -
-=TGU=- Tactical, casual, and realistic clan
BearGravy replied to BearGravy's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Well you don't know for certain that's the point. Everyone in it know haven't shot anyone. I have played with everyone in the group and no one has shot me while playing with them. -
I've been having the same issue, as well I have no idea whats going on. But maybe you should put this in the bug forums, because it sounds like a bug.

Ever had a dream related to DayZ?
BearGravy replied to tron34's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I had a dream that at Zolonigorsk all these spotlights and shot's were going all over the city, then they all pointed at at my buddies and I, then I heard dogs barking, and they were getting closer, then I go to my tent and wake up. -
Guys you should join, we were originally in the Official DayZ group, and we made a team because it was to chatty in the chat room. When we did this there were no questions asked they just banned us. WE WILL NOT DO THAT. We will ask whats up, and if you need your personal space that's fine, this group is for regular survivors and bandits a like, to keep the immersion of the realism alive, because if you picked up a walkie talkie in real life you don't know who is on the other end so it is up to you whether you want to trust them or not.
