Um if we are talking about vehicles then I think it would be cool if cars had different tire sizes, so not every tire fits every car. -
They should allow knock out weapons. And maybe to add icing on the cake have bags which you put over their heads, to block vision. Then you can take them back to wherever your base is unbag them and make them fight in an arena which men fight and the first one to knock out dies. Making the others have to fight for their lives in a knock out contest fight like animals.

Honestly before we get into the mechanics of melee I think we should work on the weapons first. As of right now there are only two. They should include fists, knives, swords, vases, blunt objects, etc. Then the combat should get a overhaul. But that's jut my opinion.

Well the one problem with fps games lately is that there is no skill included, you point you shoot, you are either dead or got a kill, then you run aimlessly through the map. Not including the crosshair in SA or just using the Arma 2 one is fine with me. If either gets into the game then I will enjoy it. If they actually use the one in the dev vlog. Sure I will be a little sad but that doesn't mean I won't play the game. But this game is a survival game, which does include tactics on surviving and combat. The combat tactic will be thrown out the window with a simple crosshair like that imo, but I am pretty sure Rocket knows what he is doing.

I personally want to go back to just regular severs. Even though testing private tests might be better, I want to go back to a server were no one is in charge. For about the last 2 servers I have been in (Both different servers) The admins just kicked people off for no reason. Literally I was playing out in the wilderness cooking, never had contact with anyone, then I see a whole bunch of people get kicked, then I get kicked. I also hate that every single server needs a custom loadout, side chat, and a restart before it gets dark. That breaks the feel of the game for me. Speaking of which if anyone knows a server that doesn't have those 3 things, tell me. I garuntee I will go on that server all the time.

I actually hate the servers that give you a loadout that spawn and have no pvp. It's like the loadout is bad enough, but without a main game element, now you are just teasing me. -
I hate when that happens. It should be mandatory to say whether you spawn with weapons or not on the server name.

We are just a group of people that want to bring a community of gamers together and play games. For fun. You can build teams within this community and play tactically if you like, or you can just join to have fun and play with others. We are short numbered so the more people you bring the better. I am not gonna lie or sugar coat anything, most of the people that are already there don't play together, it is practically dead at this point. But if we can get enough people to join, atleast 100 they we can get this place pumping again and we can meet the goal we want, which is have people come together and play games. If we get a lot of people and it is too crowded we will start making separate groups tailored to the way people want to play, whether it be role play, or just to play games. I just need an opinion on this series that I am doing. I want to make these videos something people enjoy watching. I have about 3 videos out already for DayZ alone and am putting up ones of me just playing games Friday Saturday and Sunday. But all I want is your opinions. I want a community of people watching these videos and I want to shape it the way the community wants it. I can take constructive critisim. Just please tell me what I am doing wrong, right, or if I should add or take anything away. Beyond that I hope you guys enjoy the video!

How about when standalone comes out, you get to play with servers that have difficulty options. Easy the zombies run. Normal the zombies do what they do now. Hard they are harder to take down. Harder, they run faster harder to take down, and hit harder.

I think having to sleep while offline would be to much. Why not either have sleeping bags you can pick up or enterable homes which you can loot for food and sleep in a bed. and the sleep would only be 5 minutes. I know 5 minutes sounds short and not very real but when you knock out for 5 minutes in game, you are waiting anxiously to the last second to get up. So I believe making you sleep for 5 minutes would work, or 10. What should be allowed though is if your player goes to bed and then you log off then he stays there for the 10 minutes and the character doesn't log out of the server until the time is up.

Well when you think about it not necessarily, because in order to get ko'ed they have to be near you. So that forces you to steer clear from them. And I'm not talking about every hit KO I'm saying like how you can bleed at first hit. You get KO'ed at first hit. Like it is as constant as bleeding out.

After I realized Zombies barely hurt you. Just enough to make you start bleeding I bandage and run through towns without a care in the world. So yes I say on DayZ main they should make zombies stronger. As of right now they are an annoyance not a threat, it would be nice to see this turned around, either make the first hit a knock out or make it take a lot more blood away.

The game is better, from what I read you were mad of the clipping through walls zombies, getting them agro easy, inventory, along with the hatchet not being so well. Basically you thought the game was crap. Well to put it plainly the game is crap because it is still in alpha, but it has progressed since then. - I believe the inventory is perfectly fine. It could be slow at times, but still good. It's like resident evils inventory system. - The hatchet is one hit to zombies now. - no more zombie clippings. - Remember this is a mod so they have to work with what they got. The reason why the zombies are sort of wanky is because they had to take the characteristics of the soldiers. You can see while they run up to you they zig zag. They also had to add in the hitting animation for zombies, so it does look weird. - Not only that but the tutorial is in the regular ARMA 2. Just play the tutorials in the game on it's own. - As for the server problems, get DayZ Commander. There are many filters, user friendly, and very easy to use. I hope you enjoy the game after learning all that. If not, to each his own I guess. -
I think WarZ might have made it harder for DayZ to be posted on Steam but as long as you don't lie in the info, and they test it, along with showing all the progress the game has made it should be fine. I am completely 100% with the state of the game thus far and do not fear that the game might not be able to appear on Steam. DayZ is on a well rounded secure track with no flaws or mistakes. Not only that but I will add that if we didn't rush Rocket on making this the day before the "World was supposed to end" then I think we are all okay with not rushing Rocket and the team to finish it all. Take all the time you need, I got a mod to play until then. Be honest to Steam, and above all if Steam doesn't put it on you have just about 1.4 million backers ready to sign a petition to put it on Steam. So no worries, take all the time that is necessary and don't cut corners. This is a game I really enjoy, probably one of the best I would go as far to say, and I extremely want to see it prosper.

I sort've like the idea, I've something like that in mind, but not werewolves or anything. More along the lines of a apocalyptic setting. Were there are radiation pockets that you must avoid before dying of radiation. We could use ghouls as something to avoid. We could also have settlements around the map. They wouldn't have to necessarily be safe havens. But there could be a trader there and guns must be lowered at all times, you can put it up to shoot people if you want. Things like that. Sort've like a fallout aspect. Maybe even a map with a sort've 50's style to it.
